Mainly because we know alot more about the alliance than the horde, we also don't know what the third horde race is. I'm sure alot of people are out there drooling to be dwarven hunters with there shotguns+5, also Furor was really into druids which is probably influencing more than a few people out there.

The Night Elves are going to be part of the alliance? I would think they'd be different... even going on the storyline of WC3... since the Horde is obviously on a different side... Wouldn't the alliance be like it's always been, and be Humans, Elves and Dwarfes and not the Night Elves, too?

I haven't really read the official site in-depth yet, so if it says it there then I just didn't know.

As far as i know, and i dont know that much, WoW takes place either after Warcraft 3 or after the expansion of Warcraft 3. In Warcraft 3, night elves had to join the alliance to defeat the demons, while Tauren joined the Horde because the orcs helped the Tauren leader with something, i forget what.

Blizzard hasnt confirmed the whole not bieng able to group with other faction thing.... but I think im going to be a night elf hunter...

buit considering the fact that they havnt released all the races yet or the classes, I dont really know....

Just to clarify, World of Warcraft takes place 4 years after the ending of Warcraft III. Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne carries the story between WC3 and WoW and sets the scene for when players log on to WoW for the first time. There are some very cool story twists that happen and all sorts of new alliances and enemies are made by races on both sides.

And don't forget, not all of the races and classes have been announced yet
