One to watch. Shots look great. But i know nothign of the game mechnics at all...I didnt like what i heard about Lineage so this might just be a really polished version of suck.

Models look alright -- waterfall, poly effects (splash), and water looks horrid.

Hopefully thats something that will be revised

Looks and gameplay are definitely not the problem with this game or the devs.

I beta'd the first one and might beta this one. If this one is even close to the first one's experience I won't be playing. It was a decent game for the most part. It is/was PvP. The problem is that it is a Korean based Dev co. So exactly what does that mean really?

Game-wise not a whole lot. Community-wise it breaks this game for me. Imagine, if you will, an EQ where all the Americans playing/testing the game had a Gang mentality. Not that that's entirely a bad thing. But then those gangs of Americans followed you around in the game PK'ing and yelling racial slurs. And that's just for starters.

While testing the first game if the community found out you were of English background(Any country english speaking that is) Gangs of Korean characters would stalk you and kill you when "Yankee Are Lost??"

Now...if they're doing this game all stateside it could be totally different and I haven't asked many questions as of yet but I will. I might even pop into NCSoft headquarters and see who I can shake up about this product. Problem is, I still wake up in cold sweats with my ears ringing to the tune of "Yankee Go Home!!"

Those are some SWEET models. Holy shit those are spiders are scary looking. I have a slight case of arachnophobia. =(

The screenies are certainly impressive (Unreal Engine) but looking at the FAQ: only 5 races and 2 classes?? That's almost as bad a selection as AC2. Dumbed down stats/abilities/classes does not seem to be working for AC2...

Richard Garriot is the boss of Ncsoft, and you can't even compare Lineage 1 and Lineage 2, the first one was a crappy game only good for the korean market, but still it was the most played MMORPG in the world with up to 1 millions subscribers, 99% korean of course, but still scary.
Now that they made money with Lineage 1, Ncsoft is planning to invade the US and European market with multiple and it seems High quality games :

- Lineage 2
- City of Heroes
- Guild Wars
- Exarch
- Kingdom Under Fire : The Crusaders
- Shinning Lore

Ncsoft is certainly planning into becoming an heavy part of the MMORPG market, and have good chances to succeed it seems.

As far as I am concerned Lineage 2 is one of 5 games I am watching closely, those 5 being :

- Mythica (Very high end game oriented and with some very great ideas)
- World of Warcraft
- Everquest 2
- Lineage 2
- Horizons

I'm getting tired of fantasy-(mal)proportioned female characters. No one can make an attractive woman character model w/o 12" waist, 48" chest? Barbarians are huge, and so are their chests. Erudites are tall, even lying on their backs. Woodelves are petite, except for their ENORMOUS racks. Humans are mostly fine, at least the parts that their clothes are capable of restraining . There isn't even an option for more realistically-figured females. Anyone, no matter what the race or origin, lacking a penis, has GIGANTIC breasts. It even encumbers them in the fantasy game. Have you seen barbarian women warriors swing weapons? They absolutely have to fight around themselves. I haven't seen animations on most games, but I can't imagine them moving close to naturally with those... things out front. Even if there were a woman who looked like that in real life, she wouldn't be attractive. Gross cartoony caricatures are getting way overdone. I guess I just have to restate my opening line, it's just getting tiresome.

P.S. I am a healthy, heterosexual, young man. Breasts in general don't bother me in the least, I rather like them
