| Amusing memory. After reading through Furor's WoW update a recent memory popped back into my head which caused me a nice chuckle so I thought I would share (feel free to rickshaw). While exploring SB during beta I saw a toon named Furor in one of the worlds (there were only 2 shards at that time). I really did not think it was the "real" Furor but apparently some other people did and were following him around endlessly asking him if he was going to start FoH in SB and why they should be in it etc. During my daydream of WoW the same thing popped into my head - I envisioned a toon named "Furor" surrounded by hordes of players whom were all following him around like rats after the Pied Piper begging and pleading their cases to be members of his WoW guild. The sad part is that it would probably play out in a very similar manner. So aside from the amusement the imagery brought me I was wondering - Furor (and all reconizable FoH), would you use the same name in WoW knowing there is a strong likelihood that the scenario mentioned above would become a reality? I know it was not your original toon's name (though I think it is superior to Kal anyhow) and I also know you are a fan of backstory and character history. I probably shouldn't ask this because if you are not planning on changing names you probably don't want to advertise that just yet (not until Tigole reserves it for you in Beta) but I was also curious if you were going to go a different route and take on a different name and create an entirely new character history with backstory based on Warcraft's own fiction.\ Save your flames folks - I have a zippo that lights my blunts just fine. |

| blizzard's thinking ahead with the pvp functionality. im sure we can petition them to allow open season on all characters named sam deathwalker - or some variation thereof. blizzard will understand. they've a large core of EQ players there, right? |

| Interesting Some cocksucker keeps using my name in MMO games during beta, therefore I cannot. Sad thing is, he has NEVER ONCE been online for me to cuss him properly. Probably one of my old "teamates" from AL. Nonetheless, I do like the name. Furor's is fine too, but I can't shake the "He-Man with the Sword" image from my mind (do you remember that post Furor?). |

| The real race will be for EQSUx0Rz as a character name. Log-in day one is always a fun time ![]() On a heavier note, I'll try and get my EQ names for WoW but I certainly don't expect much. A million monkeys and all that combine with an only very small amount of noteriety in my case. Though, as opposed to the somewhat now standard "Kreugan/Furor/Thsloot /Hobben/Elderath/Tigggggole"s that I see in every MMORPG that I've played now. Finding a stalker in most of them is harder than in EQ =p At least "Gann" gets through the AO filter for the trial ![]()
