So, Guild Wars will have no monthly fees in North America, and will offer a variety of pricing options for gamers in other parts of the world.

Looks good though, and if it works, it should be great. NCSoft run Lineage, which is now the most popular MMOG worldwide, I think. Hopefully, this means that they know what they are doing.

Lets hear it for keeping promices.
How about you do a little research first. XBlive charges you for access to microsoft's dedicated servers that run all the neato games that are normally peer to peer on PC. It also covers you for free content downloads for stuff like Mechs and maps for mech assault and so on.

The hunter's license for PSO has nothing to do with MS, it is charged by the company that puts the game out, just like you had to pay to play it on the DC. What you've said is akin to you paying your ISP the monthly fee to play EQ.

considering you pay 4 bucks a month for XBlive after the free year, I don't think anyone should be complaining.

Lineage also has a fubar user system. Net cafes buy lots and lots and lots of liscenses on the cheap that people can use when they stop by,

Why not? Instead of joining the Freeport Militia, you're now signing up for THE ARMY OF ONE!

Want ph4t l3wt? Try Nordstroms Guk. Now the Ghoul Lord drops "Old Navy Crew Cut Capris Pants". McDonalds happy meals give you +5 stam +5 str! Plane of Disney = end game biyatch! Cazic now drops Air Jordans and a Rod of Magnovox!

The devs who are doing it formerly worked at Blizzard so it has the possibility of being good.
