Think his problem is that cause he deals with "stolen" SoE property he has no way to prove in court what happened.

"Your honor he stole my +10 sword of ebay killers. I gave him money for it then he took it back"
"No, I didn't. I gave you that sword and have no clue what happened to it."
"You stole it you n3rd!1!"
"Prove it, get something from SoE saying I did."
"Well...Ummm...You see...There is this EULA saying that...umm...We can't sell SoE's property and...umm...everytime I've asked them for proof of something, they umm...tell me to go to hell... BUT he really did steal it your Honor. I umm...you have to take my word for it..."
"Case Dismissed? Sweet, thanks your Honor. You should fine him for wasting the courts time too..."

I love all the threats he has about how he will prosecute you if you try and steal back a character from him. Was tempted to do just that to watch him try and sue me. If I sell you a car and take it back, to get your money back from me in civil court you would have to prove that it was me that stole back the car. Not some random car thief. He has no way to prove anything other then he currently has no access to a character. You could even state that he still does have access, but is not using the correct PW just to screw you over in this court and he would have no way to refute even that.

Find this guy and beat the shit out of him, seriously. Whoever is paying the 10k reward has a fuckload of info, damn. I hope this kid gets what he deserves. This is a pretty devious scam he has going, i must admit its smart, but he left too much of a trail going and must be caught. Ugh i hope he gets his ass beat.

Forgetting for a second about the scamming...

The amount of information this person has compiled on the alleged scammer ENTIRELY over the internet is fucking scary. And this person was trying to hide.

I've known for a long time it was possible, but I've never personally seen anyone go to these lengths before. It really hits home now.

Am I the only one who thinks fucktards who use their EQ account info for another account in the first place get what they deserve?

I'm pretty sure you need a credit card number if you email Verant for password change.

heh regardless of what yantis has on him that's eq related you cant steal from people's bank accounts or credit cards whatever you are buying with them. stealing and or selling eq accounts is trivial.

If Yantis had all this info and cant get him arrested there is no way in hell you can get him arrested. If Yantis was really paying $10k (note he must be arrested) then he could fly down his whole team for a visit to personally press charges.

That whole thing was more flawed than his lawyers poor choice of wording in all his deals.

hi

if this guy steals from peoples bank accounts/and or credit cards using paypal, theres probably a reward from the FBI for info leading to his arrest too.

Theft prior to the year 1400 in most of Europe was punishable by death and it still happened all the time.

The difference between now and pre 1400's eroupe is so great u cannot compare the penalties. People would risk death to steal bread because they are starving. I doupt they would risk the same fate nowadays,
