| Sol Ro Good lord dont make hall trash in Sol Ro harder. The mindnumbing clearings to Dres or Jiva are bad enough as they are...

+2 Internets | No shit, though respawn being lower on some of the stuff would be nice, as well as hp being lowered a bit to open it up as another possible xp zone for folks as they advance in flags. Kinda gay that from the time you get your BoT flag, you either xp there or PoV for the best xp until you're flagged for elementals. |

| well sol ro is a fucked up zone altogether, there should be 1/2 as many mobs or less and they shbould hit twice as hard or more...you have to kill bertox to get there so you expect it to be somewhat challenging but instead its just hours of boring clearing for an easyt flag named that drops shitty loot. sol ro tower is barely 1 step above torment IMO, except that the best mob int he whole place, sol ro himself, has almost no clearing and drops godly loot considering 30 people can drop him np |

| The only intent of a change in the pre-elemental loot is to encourage the use of this content. For an example of poorly tuned encounters, Cazic-Thule and Innoruuk were both retuned at the same time. Since then Cazic has been killed by someone almost every single time he’s spawned, while Innoruuk is totally wasted. If these pre-elemental encounters don’t receive some adjustments, then that content is going to be wasted. From a development point of view, this is unacceptable. All of that content, and some complete zones like Torment, took a large chunk of developer time to design. Allowing that content to go unused puts more pressure on the developer team to design new content, and creates more overcrowding of the player base into the good risk/reward areas. So, a retune benefits both developers and players. Realistically, a retune would be fairly easy. Give a few of the pre-elemental mobs some items that are slight upgrades to luclin (ssra) gear (100 hp/mana + ft/veng). I’d also encourage an increase to the exp in Torment, and the addition of a couple of decent named spawns that drop usable gear (ala pof). Environmentally, Torment has amazing ambiance. The mobs are interesting and the layout is fun, but it needs something to get players into the zone. The exp should realistically be similar to crypt of decay. |

| PoP is basically a great project and a piss poor implementation. The designers created beautiful zones and the guys responsible for the contend totally messed it up because they put the raid-aspect over the regular gameplay instead of mixing it. The only exception seems to be Plane of Valor as the Aerin'Dar script fits in nicely. Take a look at the other zones. HoH B has no other purpose than killing MM. Nobody is hunting in Plane of Torment. CoD B is just the Bert script. Air is a pure raid zone. Earth is mostly raid zone. Tower of Sol Ro is a raid zone. Most of HoH A is locked with mobs casting feeblemind - gratz for wasting a zone whoever came up with that. PoJ, PoI, Nightmare and Disease are not worth the time since the exp on those light blue mobs sucks hardcore. So what is left? PoV, PoS, Tactics, BoT, a bit of Water and Fire if you got the flags for it. A pretty well designed exp-zone named Plane of War never made it to the live servers. Basically PoP could have been great, but it turned out to be boring because the nicely designed zones got totally wasted to support nothing but flag contend. |
