Giving SKs the 61 pet would be way too much, but Servant of Bones or Emmisary of Thule wouldnt be too bad i guess. Well, from a Necro's PoV anyhow.

| Really the paladin elemental BP should have an aggro increasing effect. That way Vikki, being the uber paladin MT that she is, can tank 'uber' mobs even better! Afterall, is not Verant trying to balance classes more? Since paladins have lower hit points and mitigation than warriors, the only way to balance them is to make paladins aggro more. |

I'm note entirely sure how I feel about the Bard BP effect. It's essentially an epic click, which is a good thing, I guess, because you can do away with the last convenience your epic provided you and be done with it for good. But, at the same time, I kinda' feel it should be a little... I dunno... more powerful or something. It's a PoTime BP, y'know?

Rogue: Yeah, Khalsazar and Evade aren't enough. They need something that makes them completely invulnerable. You obviously have no fucking clue what Jolting Blades would do for Rogues. Ranger: Eye of Tallon; might be nice if SoE doesn't totally fuck over Archery in the near future. Quiver of Tallon...eh, 3 more damage isn't exactly worth a BP effect. Monk: 1) You are fucking insane to give anything like Pacify to monks; 2) 30 second recast time makes it totally useless to a monk, as they can FD past the one or two things it will stick on faster than casting this. Lower the cast/recast time, and you have uber monk-must-pull mentality again. Quote:
My ideas/wishes, for what it's worth (which is nothing): Bards: Chorus of Marr, so they can rest a fucking finger; "Focus Effect" of 70% all instrument/singing, worn effect. Beastlords: Misson of Sorsha, increase pet damage 10%, duration 15 minutes, cast time 8.0, recast time 28 minutes Clerics: Sheltering Hand of Marr, AE group 1600HP buff and AC75, cast time 40.0, recast time 1.25 hours, costs 20 peridots Druids: Hunger of Fennin Ro, 1600 DoT over 1 minute, -13AC, -50 Fire Resist, cast time 8.0 Enchanters: Confidence of Quellious, VoQ +2 more mana regen, Wis and Int, +125 more mana, cast time 18.0, costs 1 pearl Magician: Planar Renewal, cast time 10.0, recast time 24.0 Monk: Death Pact (self-only version), cast time 10.0, no pearl cost; Focus effect for Dragon Punch/Tail Rake or whatever Necromancer: Regeneration, worn effect; Focus Effect -25% mana cost DoTs Paladin: Quest of Marr, group 15ATK, 2 regen, 50AC (*stackable* dammit); Focus Effect -25% group heal mana costs Ranger: Mission of the Rathe, group 75ATK, 8DS (*stackable*), 50AC, duration 1 minute, cast time 1.0, recast time 12 minutes; Focus Effect that makes Eagle Eye last an hour, god damn it all to hell Shadowknight: Servant of Bones, cast time 30.0; Focus Effect for Lifetaps +15% damage/health Shaman: Sentence of the Tribunal, 2800 disease DoT over 7 ticks, cast time 12.0, recast time 36.0; Focus Effect that halves Malos' mana cost Warrior: Voice of Terris, cast time 10.0, recast time 27 minutes Wizard: Gaze of the Zek, 3210 magic DD, cast time 9.0, recast time 30.0, costs 2 opals; Focus Effect "Feet of Bidilis," -5% nuke hate Last edited by CruelTea : 03-11-2003 at 02:47 AM.

| 3s rightclick EB? With zero channeling? Gimme a break, when could we EVER use that effectively, other than to gain obscene agro on rooted/messed mobs? EB procs are onlyreally beneficial for opening up a hate 'gap' at the top of the hate list. If you're already at the top of the hate list, you'll be being hit, so wouldn't be able to cast it. If it was flagged no-interrupt, warriors would just stand there chain casting. Completely useless idea All these direct +agro proc ideas simply don't address any problems with warriors. They are completely geared towards the single, unscalable MT. For anyone else on the raid they're totally useless. Once the MT dies, anything with a cast time is completely useless to the next MT, coz he won't have time to cast it before he's supposed to be tanking. Sigil gloves have a 0.5 second cast time, and often takes a couple of casts to land when you're tanking, yet all these suggestions with +agro ahve a cast time making them useless. Furor's shield idea is the only one that actually interests me as a high level warrior. The shield/charm/BP idea works on several levels. 1: it's precastable, so you can have it in inventory until you need it 2: It makes the /shield discipline a little more viable 3: FBX only works to increase agro on PROCS and bashes. Equip a non-procing weapon and you have low agro, but the weapon focus makes it into a viable 1hander while waiting to use /shield. 4: Most importantly, it's useful for ALL warriors on the raid. In fact, the person least likely to use it is the initial MT. I'd go a little further. Make the charm effect weapon ratio reliant on shield useage like you said. If you want to restict availability, make it a quest requiring one nodrop piece from a non-raid area (but viable for exp), as well as a tradeable tradeskill item from elemental or time drops (all time guilds will have maxed tradeskillers). Give the BP the summon: shield. Prolly add some effect: maybe latent DS, haste would be nice too since we're low on the list for premium haste items, but make it all latent. Give the shield +dodge/parry/riposte mods to max those skills, AND give it a latent damage reducer akin to a minidefensive. We all know the 'plateau' effect of AC at various levels, and we know the stories of caps, hard and soft. Give this summoned shield a quantifiable damage reduction seperate from AC.

well, minus the 25% off to dots. Anyhow, 5hps regen / tick as a main effect on robe vs a 1600 hps manafree buff on clerics ? come on, thats just silly. Let alone the fact that 5hps regen is negligeble at best at that level, some people might have capped regen allready, et al, thats a pretty weak suggestion. Necro Robe : Worn Effect: Replenishment of Miragul, 7 HPs / Mana pr tick regen, stacks with all. Focus Effect : Essence of Miragul, 30% dmg increase to Lifetaps.
