I see a Maelin Starpyre server locked on the server selection screen

Is this the 'new' server?
What kind of ruleset will it have?.
Any planned movelogs?.

Anyone have heard anything about it?

So its $25 more in labor vs a normal naked character x-fer to:

1) Run a different SQL script to copy a toon over with full equipment (oh wait they did it for free on the new Euro servers...)
2) Check to make sure you're *legit* (since I'm sure they're doing FBI quality background checks)
3) Provide happy automated email responses and a warm welcome.

Then again, money doesn't really matter when you're on a hugely overpopulated server with 4+ guilds in Elemental Planes people will pay it. Can't expect SoE to open up split servers and allow more /movelogs until after they milk this cashcow for all its worth.

Hehe, nice cashcow they've got going there. $75 for a bailout, wonder how many will take it. Of course you could always use the verified gm cack transfer system. I hear it works wonders for certain customers moving to e.marr from oh say druz.ro. Doesn't cost you anything, well.. money wise anyway.

I can possibly see this server as the next Stormhammer for whatever reason. Whats cool though, seeing how it takes 75 bucks to move to this server, if a somewhat "uber" guild were to move as a whole, they could probably dominate the server.

at least one solrotower enabled guild from karana has already moved there

A tier 4 guild on Nameless will probably be moving to Maelin very shortly. Figure it can't be any worse than what we currently have. Although I am kinda interested on who else thinks they have it so bad that they are willing to have the entire guild pay $75 each to move.
