| New 3 minute World of Warcraft gameplay video Go to http://www.worldofwc.org/ to download it. What do you think? It looks pretty fucking amazing in my opinion. Just in case anyone has the same problem i did, i had to use the new DivX player to play it, Windows Media Player wouldn't work for me. |

| all looks very cartoony, which i know is the look they are going for but in some spots it just looked like the terrain lacked finesse. the character movements were jerkey and the waves and stuff jerky a la EQ. i am truly unimpressed after seeing this video =/ |

| Quiksilver, have you seen any movie clips from EQ? WoW looks way better then anything I've seen. But, a game can only go so far on looks, how it is played will determin how well it does. Ashame, by the looks of that video, I'm disapointed i said I'd never play another game like this again. |

| let me know when they have an extensive gameplay faq avaialble or the 3 minute game play movie comes out. lets be frank, everquest is everquest not because it looks good. It looks the opposite of good in many, many aspects. as much as we love to bitch about it, its a damned good rules set. when we have the rules set of WOW i'll give a rats ass |

| omg that was the best thing i have ever seen. the large-scale battles looked amazing, not to mention the character details. also like the NPC/PC interactions with each other. unlike eq where there is no interaction at all besides the mob "facing" the PC. |

| I agree that the cartoony look isn't the best, but by this footage it looks like it's become much less cartoony since it was announced. It's pretty close to being just right in my opinion. The scenery / environment is amazing. Animations generally look great (that giant.. wow!). I'm thinking i'll be needing a new computer run this game . I've never been overly excited about WoW until now. |

+2 Internets | Holy eyecandy. If they can back that imagery up with an equal amount gameplay and content. i guess its time to put EQ to rest. Or maybe not, SoE loves its fans (the all mighty kaching kaching) enough they wont let that happen and give us a kickass new game. Either way i think progamers will be very satisfied in the next year. |

+8 Internets | omg wow. This game looks fucking amazing. If it plays half as well as it looks I don't think I'll be leaving the house except for mandatory food runs. Blizzard products usually have pretty solid gameplay aspects (at least IMHO) so let's hope they don't blow it on this one. Yeah it will definitely have some hefty system specs... |

| Gameplay is all that matters in the end. WoW might deliver, oddly the inclusion of Tigole on staff still carries a little weight with me. Future titles of worth are not even on the radar yet in my opinion. Sigil games might yet put something out of note, WoW may be impressive, even the vile SWG might be worth playing. In the end though, my eye remains on EQ2, as much as that might be unfun in terms of SoE-bashing. EQ stole the entire game from a MUD, and it worked. The MUD was balanced and the intial game was also. Frankly, the game stayed interesting as long as they stayed to the formulae. When it was abandoned, I kinda lost it too. Bah, the next best thing needs two things. One, replicate everything EQ did well. Two, don't fuck up as much. And honestly, it only really needs the first thing.

| Why the fuck would I want to purchase a game and account and spend time leveling a character in a game that's pretty much an EQ clone when I'm paid-up on my EQ expenses and only have to worry about my AA and flags? Serious question. |
