| What mouse do you use? Ive been looking at a variety of corded/wireless and optical/wheel mice the last few days. I was curious as to what the people around these parts are using and if they have preferences dependant on the games they play. Im sure several of you use different styles dependant on if you primarily play FPS, RTS, RPG , etc.

| I had a basic optical microsoft mouse. Right mouse button went out on it, so I replaced it with the new Microsoft Blue. It's only 27 dollars, and I like it alot. My other systems I have a cordless Logitech mouse/keyboard combo, and a IBM (logitech) mouse that has worked for 5 years with no problems. Logitech or Microsoft are a pretty safe bet. I've had better experiences with Logitech than Microsoft though.

| I had an old Logitech wheelmouse, and then bought a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer USB. Unfortunately, the Microsoft mouse (or the drivers) do not seem to respond to the sensitivity adjustments in EQ and it responds terribly slow, so I’m still using the Logitech. It’s the only way I can actually turn around quickly to see pulls etc. I get the feeling you are having the same problem. On a related note, I’ve been thinking about getting a Logitech MX500, anyone have luck with those? |

| I have a MX500 mouse.. love it. I don't play EQ anymore, so I wouldn't be able to tell you how well it performs with what you are doing. I can tell you it's a very comfortable mouse with some neat extra buttons. The back/forward thumb buttons are own for surfing the web for us lazy asses ![]()

| Just picked up a Logitech Mx700, 1 uber mouse to use for gaming, has the dual optical sensor's underneath. it's wireless, but the reciver stand is also a charger stand for the mouse, uses Nickel Cadinum(sp?) batteries. Only problem I have with it so far is I can't get the scroll wheel to work in EQ, think there is a setting I screwed up somewere. Last edited by Folanlron; 03-03-2003 at 12:35 PM.. |

| I use a Logitech cordless optical mouse, it came in a set with my keyboard. The only drawback is the lack of an OFF button or switch, so the thing chomps away at batteries 24/7. I usually pop one of them out before I sleep at night to save them. |
