AE rampage the new bane of mages

Im all for the idea of AE rampage but im getting really tired of making arrow gardens for all the melee to shoot at the mobs. I thought we got over the mages summoning stuff non stop with the od rod fix. I have enjoyed ae rodding every 20mins or so and actually nuking etc. I think if they want to keep giving mobs ae rampage they should give all bow wielding melee the ability to train endless quiver.

AE rampage is so lame. Any ability given to mobs that takes very popular, key classes and makes they absolutely useless need to be rethought. Honestly, what can monks/rogues do with an AE Rampage mob? It's not like it's timed so you can weeve in and out. Monks are the best example. WTF can they do other than aid the pull, which many POP pulls can be done by damn near any class ?

Hey, bust out the soriz worker pouch Bruce, AE ramp mob inc. Sorry.

AE ramp in it's current form is such a fucking cop out on trying to make encounters innovative AND challenging. What they should have done is make rampage for the harder encounters 2 or 3 targets instead of 1 like it is in luclin. Or, if they absoultely INSIST on keeping AE Rampage in, make the AE rampage damage 1/4 or 1/5th of the maximum main target damage, which in a roleplaying sense actually makes SOME sense. How can a monster hit Joey Buttstabber who's directly behind him for the same value he's hitting tank_X for, and is the primary target of his agression, force and efforts? Or, if they really want to get creative, make AE rampage more of a "cone" style ramp like some AEs are, where the idiots hitting from the front die off and whom you get to laugh at when the mob drops.

Let me once again go on the record

as saying, "I LOVE AE RAMPAGE."

I think it is awesome. I think it's a long overdue mob ability. So long overdue, in fact, that I think Lord Nagafen should have had AE Rampage. It is one of the only abilities you can give to mobs that makes the melee have to think and NOT afk while attacking an uber mob.

Secondly, let me flame you and by doing so, indirectly flaming every other gimp guild out there that fails to understand AE Rampage. There is not a SINGLE mob in game that has AE rampage that can not be avoided by the hordes of melee. Not one. Name a mob, I can tell you where to fight it, where to position your melee, etc... I will give you a diagram, study it carefully dumbass, this goes for the rest of you dumbasses who don't know the SECRET of walling a fucking mob:




As you can see, yet another mob that AE rampages is meleed with relative ease (this one mem blurs though which makes it a bit more tricky). Now again I ask you, WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION? WHY ARE YOUR MELEE STUPID? Fennin Ro? Walled, Magmaton? Wall if you want though not even needed. RZ, walled. Get your brilliant tacticians to employ this insane ability known as common fucking sense.

The only thing I think that should be done to AE Rampage, IF ANYTHING, is for it to have its range reduced by about 30 feet. That's it... otherwise, it owns.

Sadly, I have a feeling the whiners/lazy ass bean counters have already stirred up enough shit to cause a nerf to come....

30 feet seems like a lot, although I'm not exactly sure what 30 feet in game equate too...

It would be a great ability if it made people with 200 range nukes not AFK and have to think.

Hmm, a class who has a 5 inch margin of error before being 1 rounded or one who can twist concussion and strike of solusek while watching joe millionaire!?

I think they need to allow mages to summon shuriken of the tranquil in stacks of 20s for monks.

Here's an idea that may get me flamed:

Spell Deflection.

Not sure how casters could dodge their own nukes, but it would make them unable to go afk and watch Joe Millionaire.
