In the early days of stormhammer, you just emailed them and told them "move me back to xxx server" and they would without checking your home server. They wised up to that pretty quick.

There is a very very involved loophole in the system that the GMs are aware of, but you can still get it past them.

However, they do let people off the server with their gear who make up stories about intense harassment so they can go to other uber guilds where noone wants them either. *cough*yarah*cough*

Abatoir is mostly right.

SH is generally full of people from Red Servers who realized finally that EQ PvP is a friggin joke, but invested too much time in their character to just up and start over on a blue server or /movelog and loose their gear. And then there's the rep dodgers/ ebayers....

I played on SH for 2 months before I quit EQ (I was a red server convert) and my 2 roomates still play on SH so I know at little about it.

It's not the same as regular blue servers. There are a few advantages. However, it isn't this happy go lucky loot fest that it has the rep of being. Unless you count the server pop, SH isn't really all that different than a regular server. GM's, events, and arguably the crashes are different, but it's not like you have idspispopd or anything =)

Im pretty sure helexis changed her name to Neuorsis and is now in Deadly Sin? Is this the same person? I dont know it as a fact, but it seems likely.
