hardest mob solo'd?

Well soloed an iceburrower but they dont summon so that was pretty easy, prolly hardest recent solo was Verix in kanor as a ranger.

i thought my thread was a pretty good thread before ppl started to get off topic and calling each other names. if we could JUST STAY ON TOPIC (hardest mobs soloe'd) like in the beginning of the post. then it would continue to stay on topic. and there have been a few who have kept true to the topic so i appreciate that.

for melees they usually fungi kite mobs , melee some.Kite regen up repeat ect.That usually takes ages.

For my part hardest mob solod hmm,
keldor dek torek kalorek dar.I am not very proud of that tho since it was just using exploits and dictate.

The best kill would be probably duo in prenerf SG when it was superbadass on my 1500hp enchanter with another cleric, was hard as hell and i died endless times /hug no aa.Gfluxing up the invis ledgearea in CoM solo and killing the epic mob for enchanter with bad gear pre velius rocked too, was very proud on that one .
And another crazy kill was tantor as cleric without snare tash c3,just myself speedkiting him coz some assclown told me he drops mastodon furs and i wanted the woodelf hat.
Took me 3-4 hours and i used a level 29 nuke so he cant reach me when done with nuking.
Of course he didnt drop the fur p

I've seen shammies and necros solo Lodi, so that's been beaten into the ground.

However, from my personal standpoint, I thought I was pretty nifty for soloing VS at level 56 with the monk pet in chain-cast. Cast pet, send it, begin re-casting, /pet get lost right before the spell lands . But I was only able to do it once, so I think it was a fluke.

But still...it's a sad, sad day when a cleric and chanter combo can kill virtually all of HoT and VP. Oh, well.

Did I forget to mention that Legends server sucks ass?

A top-end paladin should be capable of soloing VS with some (read 3 or 4) lucky Slay Undead shots, Force of Akilae, and the /disc sanctification. It'd be gutsy to try though, as the more likely outcome is a quick and messy death.

Hwed no melee will ever solo Venril Sathir, there is not enough solo melee DPS in the world to solo him.

He has 18000hp. A 65 paladin with the right weapon, tons of ATK gear, and (as I said above) a lucky streak with Slay Undead could put that out in four slay shots.

Sanctification grants 12 seconds of immunity to his lifetap. That's an opportunity for about 4 rounds of attack. Force of Akilae, 2-hand bash, and ripostes could buy another 5-6 seconds (assuming more luck), and another round or two of attacks.

If everything went well, you're looking at between 12 and 20 attacks with chances of conversion to slays.

I'm not saying it's likely. In fact, a paladin would almost certainly die making the attempt, but it is within the realm of possibility.

That said, I wouldn't imagine that anyone would try this. It's like playing Russian Roulette with a chambered semi-automatic. You can't hope for an empty cylinder, you just have to hope the gun will jam.

how was this done, just curious, i mean 2 hours...wouldnt his hp run out seeing as how the PoD isnt a light hitter when u consider going solo with him. i mean he mustve had some nice right click items ( invigorate, somekind of root).

I can see a warrior doing it if he is buffed, but 2 hours?

I have "melee" soloed the Neriak PoD when I was full raid buffed, have gotten it to around 20% twice self buffed. I'm very far from the best equiped cleric around, so its not to much of a streatch for a warrior to do it.

The triggered version can and has been killed by paladins. In fact, it had already been done when the cap was 60.

As for the "normal" spawned version.. you'd have to be very very lucky. I wont say its impossible because 18k could be cranked out in 3 hits.. but it would take an unlikely alignment of the stars in the players favor.

I'll try it though if I ever find him up, just for kicks.
