Saw a bard solo Melalafen in WW (the big red dragon that drops Naggy loot) by using that assist exploit...he got Sont to fight Mela, and Mela lost...a quick tap at the end of the fight kept the corpse from poofing, an viola! free Cloak of Flames.

I soloed that guy that drops the orb of the infinite void in Kael when no guild on the server could kill him. He was red to me at 60, so I guess he would be 63 or something. You use dictate on this one giant that stands next to him that quads and flurries for like 600, and than you cast haste on him. Dictate only lasts some 48 seconds, but this giant pet must put out like 2000 dps, so it doesn't even take that long.

I think the hardest would be, if you consider it solo, was the Bristlebane kill by Irontail on Povar.

Yes i know a druid came and ported him in and out and dropped a couple dots on BB but hell he was soloing BB for like 3 hours before the druid showed up. Or at least thats how i remember hearing it.

You can make the WW SS with invis easy, but there's an assload of wanders, kiting is gimped since some of the shit summons... hard to believe it was done. I could see a chanter/shaman doing PoF, but a wizard...

Hardest mob I ever solo'd, seriously here, was the fucking EXG Clockwork in SolA at 53 with my wizard. Lures only hit a quarter of the time it seemed, and he bashes way to fucking much, the little bastard had me at 60hp when I killed him.

Yeah, Irontail's Bristlebane kill in Plane of Mischef was awesome. It took like 5-7 hours.

to the guy who said a 65 war soloed the pod?
how was this done, just curious, i mean 2 hours...wouldnt his hp run out seeing as how the PoD isnt a light hitter when u consider going solo with him. i mean he mustve had some nice right click items ( invigorate, somekind of root).

The druid only sped up the process, Irontail woulda killed him regardless, and had been going at it for hours before the druid showed up.

The solo clearing of PoF (minus CT, draco and golems) by a wizard, pre-PoP, is the best solo feat I've heard of. For single toughest mob, I heard a bard killed Klandicar, but I'm not sure if that is true.

Im' trying to remember how the Irontail thing went down.

It seems a druid was bound next to him, then the druid would porn out to the old world, manastone, and a cleric was there to CH heal, then the druid gate back, heal, and repeat, right?
