| windowed eq alt-tabing "fix" I saw a link to a thread that had instructions on how to get alt-tabbing fixed in the official windowed eq it was funky random instructions like: alt-tab, then maximise the screen, then do this, and that, etc... I thought I saw this on rangers glade, but at the time I was happy using eqw and didn't take much notice of it. I'm keen to try out this alt tab fix but I went searching on various forums and couldn't find anything is anybody able to post a link or post instructions on how to get alt-tabbing fixed? I read some person was running 4 accounts on the same machine smoother than 2 with eqw, so it sounds good thanks in advance |

| ?? got windows xp? goto the eqwindows help forum and follow the instructions to altab with eqw,, installing act or whatever it is, works for 99% of the people to enable alt tab with winxp oh THAT ok what eq does now is only have the FRONT screen active. the rest are black - though live - you do not see the game. thus what you have to do is alt tab to the window you want the char in front- which is now BLACK, then Alt-Enter twice, once to goto full screen, once to go back to windowed mode- the ui and game will appear and the char's window prior you WERE on will go black. i still like eqwindows better, have run 4 chars at the same time with it and its really smooth if you have a decent machine. and you don't ahve to do the alt enter thing to get to see the other screen. make sure sound is off for all but one of the versions of the game, or all off. | I'm running win 2k, so that xp fix doesn't apply what I read was a series of alt-tabbing and alt-enter exercies that removes the black screen from alt tabbing meaning when you alt tab it changes to another EQ window without it being black having to alt-enter twice is way too slow |

| I ctrl-alt-dlt out of EQ with winXP It just pops up the little task manager then right click and close that and do whatever, it is kinda slow but it works for now.
