| I went to the site after clicking the link on the main page, and from the description of it, the game looks absolutely bitchin' ... it looks like it has so much potential to be awesome, but I can also forsee things getting out of hand; perhaps the developers bit off more than they can chew. I installed it, and it's laggy as hell for me, bordering on unplayable.. But hopefully after it goes live or whatever, the game will improve significantly. I can see this game being immensely popular, but not in the state that it's in now.

| I'v been playing for a bit and the graphics are pretty good. The lag is an issue for everybody I think because of the immensity of the playing world. The only thing I hate is having to run for 2 hours to get some where and how long it takes to get resorces, and that seems to be a big part of the game. Its being released in 10 days and unless they have some vast improvement I don't think it will do that. The player base right now is quite small and it will only appeal to a certain few.

| I didnt download it, from from what I read, the game won't work out. There wont be anything to kill so there wont be loot (Which isnt the bad thing), so the only thing you can do is build/make stuff, and do those "tests". One of those tests involve you putting a large amount of gold into a chest and given 10 people (that you choose) the key to the chest. If after a certain time period the money is still in, grats, you just passed the test. IMO, this looks good on paper.. but it wont work out. I see mentions of guilds in ATITD, so you could just give it to 10 guildmates. "Hey, if you help me out, ill help you out". Then there is the firework contest thing for another of the 7(?) tests. The object is to build the most amazxing firework and enter it in a contest. Which ever gets the most votes from players win. Again.. "/guildmotd Tonight we'll vote for person_x's firework. EVERYBODY VOTE FOR HIM. Tomorrow we'll vote for person_y." It all comes down to who ever has the most guildies and friends online will win. |

| Its very hard to get a big guild, to get a 2 person guild house(You have to build a guild house for a certain number of guildies) it takes over 5 hours to do. To get more than 20+ people it would take an insane amount of time, but i'm sure somebody will do it. I think is more of a community game, its not all about getting to the top but who knows.

| I played it a bit and my roommate played it a lot. Basically if you like EverQuest tradeskills you'll probably like the game, but that's essentially all there is to it. There is a whole lot of grunt work to start off with, and it's all up hill from there. The PITA factor makes EverQuest time sinks look like a first person shooter, at least to me. The tests look cool and the nicer ones weren't present in beta, but in the end it pretty much all comes back to babysitting onions and flax that you plant. Beautiful MMOG (Massively Multiplayer Online Gardening). If you want to get to the "high end" game it seems as though it requires about the amount of dedication high end players put into EverQuest, except instead of getting phat lewtz, cool swords, and killing monsters, you're clicking away at trade skills. So again, if you love tradeskills go for it. I personally can't stand them so it was a huge waste of my time. |

| I played it and thought it was a nice looking game but it just didn't bring enough to the table. I just felt like I was going to be a tailor or mason for the entire game. I don't mind doing that stuff so that I am making cool armor and swords but to do it just to do it isn't my idea of fun. Hopefully they add in a little more excitement otherwise this game will never get off its feet. |

| I played it though several of thier testing sessions and it isnt bad if you like the R&D type games, but they are charging 13.95 per month to play and it definatly aint worth that. I would pay 4.95 a month for it since there is no real excitment it would mainly be a good time killer when EQ or what ever is pissing me off ![]() |

| My main deal was lack of places to get skills (namely universities). They said they needed to add more, but right now it just sucks, and I felt very alone when looking at the huge area I'd have to trek to get one stupid skill. It was a great deal of fun for the first few hours though. Also, it's a free download; you pay 14 bucks per month and there is no software to buy (it's a free download). |
