Sorry all,

I've had a "rough day at the orifice" if you catch my drift.

The crux of the situation is that I recently discovered that males have private parts that aren't supposed to be "taught a lesson with the business end when father gets home."

Fuck, I needed one of those. Mine was only wiccan and not bi

In reality though, there is a place and role for everything, and while Linux/Apache rules the small to mid sized server area, for true enterprise environments ... you're kissing Bill Gate's or Scott McNeeley's nuts. The new NEC servers are badass and a half though, we'll see how time treats them.

I don't hate MS, I just don't like It. I find it difficult to use and difficult to maintain, if others feel different, that's fine.
I laughed at that for like 15 minutes I think. Windows is difficult to use? OMG you are a fool.

So trying to understand what exactly happened with the worm this week-end I was browsing some sites and I read this thread.

The fact that MS actually has some good enterprise level server software did came as a chock. Well it seem to be true.

1 argument seen here is that "ultra-nerds" tech guys have selected to use MS server (probably for good reasons) in these high traffic application.

Yet 4-5 out of 9 major internet backbone went down because these "genius" did not close their 1434 port when it was know they should months ago.

Does that sound a bit contradictive?

And whatever happened. A bunch of someone, somewhere, did a shit jobs at what they were suppose to do.

The mentality about security seem to be already changing. It better be cause a virus like this one did trivial damage compare to what some others could do.
