| Unfortunantly the Sequel to MoM (masters of magic) was canned, and the company doing it folded. I found a website a long time ago that tracked dead projects, It was really informitive, (bit sad to see soem games you like die though) Moo3 I stopped having high hopes for months ago... they are suffering from feature creap at this point. You can only develope a product so long before your revisiting old areas and simply fluffing them up into annoyingly difficult. Pools of radiance 3 died to this, so did Fallout Tactics and a half a dozen other games. I'm really worried at WoW too... I know Blizzard like to bug test, But im worried some ass is using the time to "just add a little more" to the game. I'm in wait and see, i wont pre-order it though. At this point the game is so diffrent from teh originals that the only thing in common is its a space conquest game and shares the title. Why the fuck cant someone rewrite UFO:XCOM using a modern turn based engine... |

+38 Internets | Yeah seriously. I bought the Xcom pack about a year ago, had all three games on it (UFO Defense, Terror From The Deep, and that really shitty 3rd one). It was great to play them again, but I had a ton of problems. For one it ran too god damn fast, I had to go find a hack to limit my computer speed so that it was even playable. And there were tons of VGA color palette problems as well. They basically just slapped the three games onto a CD and called it good. The original company that did Xcom was working on a game that was a spiritual sequel to Xcom (they don't own the name rights), but I can't remember what ever happened to it. |

On another note, Fallout 3 (a REAL fallout sequel, not a poopy battle scenarios version) is now a semi-confirmed rumor to possibly be in production at a later date by Black Isle. YAY! | |

| Fallout 3 Doesnt matter, it wont be the same game at all. All the designers who made Fallout left shortly after the Fallout 2 design phase, and most are working at their new Dev house, Troika. http://www.troikagames.com/ They made Arcanum, and are currently working on making "The Temple of Elemental Evil", a badass old Greyhawk module. |
