Tallon Zek on way to RZ

is it just me or is this the hardest mob in everquest?, i mean we've beat him flawlessy... but if he looks at you your done i find it rather amusing, but theoretically he IS harder then rallos zek...

its one of those mobs that if 3 people aren't paying attention 50 will suffer because of it... i cant figure out if its a good mob to whip your ass into shape, or just a very poorly designed encounter

Once you have beaten RZ once, you normally only have to comlete that stupid ring 1 more time. Bad news is you will normally have to do this twice since most guilds will have a few missing that needs the flag.

his ae's are monster furor, we're having difficulty for some reason keeping him from spinning around on the raid, it seems like its impossible to keep taunt on him, he always inevitably spins for a split second... and when he spins, boom, 10 people dead... making him harder then *.mob !

TZ is a wuss as long as everyone is focused... 1 mistake, or 1 overnuke etc, usually means a wipe. Long as everyone concentrates, its an easy fight.

Emrok, go look up what those Barbs of Tallon do, then you'll understand your aggro difficullty.

i'd hate to think we missed that 60% to deaggro in our troubles, but we've done him before its just mind boggling, im chalking it up to people not paying attention.. but thanks for the info

He's very frustrating when you don't know what he does and his AEs decimate your casters and clerics (hell your melees too on double AEs).

Once you know what he does, he's a joke as long as the retardation factor doesn't kick in.

TZ is hard if a roaming Hinvat Deathbringer spawns on your fucking raid and promptly ae rampages your casters.

heh heh kreugen, i wasn't really complaining i know we have it easier with you guys going thru and pointing out mistakes, i just believe tz can easily be construed as the hardest killable mob in eq, one screw up and your toast, no recovery, just toast..

aside from mobs that are unkillable i cant think of one mob that i died from looking at, resisting his ae's seem to be impossible, we've stuck agro on our mt a few times, lately i dunno what it is, cockyness i reckon! but we ae getting our asses handed to us, rz is cake but we cant even pass tz its quite amusing and extremely frustrating.

Or if you're too slow and the script repops on you, then you get another TZ and he comes rapes your raid party while you're unprepared...
