They need to do mobs like rallos, like Blood. The "loot" version has a set respawn time and has a diffarent name, so you can tell the diffarence. But make diffarent named triggers that will still spawn the event, but will result in no loot...on say a day timer after it dies. Would be alot harder for any guild to block others out that way.

Blood/Emp type encounters will help where a boss is despawnable(a la Manaetic Behemoth).

But for single-mob encounters, a short spawn timer means that the Euro guilds basically get a free shot at the mob, effectively denying it to any America-based guild.

Possible fix... do patches at normal american business hours... Instead of doing them at 3am... start em at 8am. Or even set patches on a rotation to favor euro time zone guilds and american time zoned guilds.

/shrug sounds like an easy enough solution, wonder why they never thought of it.

Nightbane was very much so successful during the Luclin days. Nightbane was also a US guild yes (with a lot of euro players at the time, although that doesn't matter much). Novae was still up there however. I believe before the Cursed cycle was set on delayed, it was dominated by anyone not in a US guild. Most server firsts were done by Nightbane during those Luclin days (Burrower, AL, HP, Cursed, Emp, VT, etc).

Right now however, there is no US guild that's going all out and everything, like Novae....which makes me feel that with zero competition in certain areas on the Karana server, there is zero cockblocking these days.

If you dont like being beaten to mobs by euro asian and australian guilds you have 3 choices, 1) show some commitment, get up early, get home early or whatever, get to the mob first and kill the fucker 2) keep crying like a bitch until they are so far ahead of you that they dont need to compete with you at all or 3) Get over it, work hard at what you can do until you get the chance to move up when you can so you can cockblock the next guild behind you, but obviously no uber american guilds ever do that

I thought that most of the 'Uber' guilds had the pick of the hard core players, seems they are just hard core whiners.

#1. How far am i from action? 650 Km from the Korean DMZ zone, and yes we duck bullets everyday.

#2. If you deny that european guilds have a time zone advantage, it's because your european and or are in a european timezone for whetever reason OR because you have no occupation. Has nothing to do with ambition of playing EQ. Many ambitious players don't have a choice in the matter.

1. European players got PoP 2 months late at less in shop (ok ok they could bought it online..)

2. US guilds cockblock European guilds and US guild too it is called competition and isn't new in EQ, i don't see the fucking point about play time, patch? random sometimes the Europe is sleeping when the patch end like sometime they just left the work, and with random spawn no way.... your just totally focusing on the rare patchs wich end in time for europeans(and when the server don't crash each hour during 5 hours after a patch so they can hope to have 1 or 2 spawn) to hide your slack.

3. cockblock? well u CAN NOT blown an event unless u bring a full raid ( but hoh trials , wich one sound allready old and got patched to avoid dragon blown...). and well u remember Vox Naggy? were u coming here to post european guild touched your cock (or cockblocked whatever) cause there were guild stronger than your permakilling them and don't let u wipe during a week to figure how fight them??? just admit it, your problem is that your guild isn't that strong so wait the other got what they want and be patient or find a new guild, sorry.
