CRAP I CANT HANDLE TAKING OFF MY SCHEDULE TO CANCEL MY PRE ORDER TO LOY SO I WILL JUST SIT HERE AND COMPLAIN ON EQ MESSAGE BOARDS HOPEFULLY STRIKING A NERVE IN THE EQ COMMMUNITY AND BRINGING THE MAN DOWN IN A BLAZE OF GLORY!

They didn't screw up... I'll bet 99% of the people that pre-ordered "without doing anything" were hammering the Enter key on the login screen waiting for servers to come back up.

When the preorder button was added to the news window, it was in the "Ok" button location and made the default button.. So the idiots hammering Enter just went one screen too far.

If you don't want to order it, just cancel. Stop blaming others for your own stupidity.

Nothing illegal about what they did, you're supposed to read what pops up there anyhow - if you hammered through it w/o reading it the EULA could have a "We reserve the rights to charge any player logging in their life savings if they use the /rand function" added and you'd be in for some annoyance. (and yes, I know that would never stand, but you get the point - you should click only after you know what something is or not bitch about it)
