Accidentally Registering Expansion

When you start up EQ for the first time after the patch, before it displays the patch message, it displays a window asking if you would like to preorder the expansion. Unfortunatly, this window looks just like the patch message I had already read in the patch program. By hitting enter, it registers you for the new expansion without a confirmation box or anything. Very lame guys.

It doesn't register you. It sets you for a pre-order. And in anticipation of people not READING, they do not charge your credit card until launch date. So you can cancel the pre-order if you want to.

Whats lame about it? 90 percent of the people who play EQ are gonna buy it anyways ;p

That Box is actually just to have you download the Expansion as they gradually release the finished files up to the starting date. It does not compel you to preorder. It simply makes it easier on you so you aren't staring at a 100mb DL on Release date.

Go to www.everquest.com then to account info the cancel order not hard.

I like that they made it so easy.
