Legacy of Ykesha: Flags or Keys?

What would you want for it?

I assume it would be about 8 flags.

Or about 3 high end keys.

The patch message says 35-60

I'm assuming this will be mainly a Velious type Expansion.

Exp zones....maybe one high end dungeon....new mid-level quest armor....you know, that type of shit.

Considering it's content "for levels 35 to 60" I doubt there will be many, if any, flags or keys. Tops, I think, is a single key into "the big bad dungeon at the end."

Personally, I think flags are the best, though I think they were implemented poorly in PoP.

I prefer flags to keys just because they don't take an inv slot... but with the keyring, what's the difference really.

The uber-zone for the expansion will be keyyed more likely than not.

The rest would be outdoor zones or something. The islands on the VP globe are the kingdom of Lok!

I'd have to say keys for this, but nothing as tedious as the emp key. Something like SoV would be cool, kill the mob get the talisman and turn it in for your key. Or like in Kunark for seb, kill the frogs get the two pendandts and turn them in for a key.

the VP key in kunark was not a "Hard" key to get, but the camps themself sucked more ass then a german hooker..

I think you are mistake if you expect an uber zone in that expansion. it will be for midlevel only.

Nothing on the VT or PoT/Elemental planes level, but there's sure to be an 'end zone'. Velious was for the same level range and it had Sleeper's and North ToV.

I would imagine there will be at least one zone that is on a par with NToV or Ssra.

Key or Flag makes no difference if it's just for one zone. Either way you have to complete a task to get it.

My guess would be they add 1-2 Ssra/VT type zone
s. I hope that they make them easy to enter and dont require some huge time sink like VT does and all just about all of PoP does. I really liked the xp system and the new AA stuff from PoP, but now that alot info is out there about how PoP really is I am not sure that I liked it. It is like they they looked at the zone access time sink in SoL with VT and they multiplied it by 5 but they spread it out among various zones and variuos quests. The only good thing is that you pick up some loot along the way while you get people flagged. Yes I realize all of eq is really a time sink, im referring specifally to the ability to be able to set foot in a zone.

Realistically I think this expansion will be about 75% made of crap that they where not able to finish for the PoP deadline plus a few other random things they came up with. I dont think that they are adding anythign that is extremly beneficial, but dont get me wrong I will be preording it =)

BTW shadow bane comes out Mid March, and LoY comes out just before that. That tells me VI are milking everquest for every last drop that they can. I am however extremely happy to see that you can just pay for the software and download it instead of the lame crap that we have gone through every other expansion where there is a frenzy to get buy the CDs at your local retailers. Every expansion you end up with some guild members who have new expansion the day it comes out while the other guild members just sit there bitter that they could not get the software the day it was released. Anyway mixed feelings about the new expansion it has some definate improvents from previous expansions but basically im not conviced that the new features merit being packged as a expansion.

That froglok model is lookin really good.

I bet there will be a lot of plate-class froglok models coming out quick. Hell, in a cupole of years i may have to go buy a uber-ed out froglok warrior on ebay
