Uhh, Lizards still look like lizards when Iksar went in. Kerrans still look like Kerrans. I'm sure the Froglok NPCs will stay as the old model, but who knows.

Ya but didnt iksars go into the game altogether, meaning they were all the same model going into the game, and Kerrans werent around to Luclin and they all went in the same model.

I do not think a race has joined the game when that race was already in the game (if that makes sense). With that we can't say if the frogloks in seb will stay the same or will become newer models.

The NPC models will not change with the playable race.

They create new models for playable races (ala Vah Shir) because they must also create all the animations and armor textures.

Seb and Guk will still have the same model that Illusion:Froglok provides but I would be willing to bet that if they put in a Bard/Rogue Froggie mask it will give the new model appearance.

Probably a monk mask too since they put MONK animations in the model ;p

I dont see many rogues or bards using flying kick or dragon punch.

They said genreally lvl 35-60, not only. You'll most likely see 1 or 2 newbie zone's added + possibly 1 or 2 high end zones.

bonus points

OK, did anyone else notice this?

They give the starting RACIAL stats (not the starting stats for a particular class) and then say you have 30 bonus points to spend.

All the other races have a set of racial base stats, and 50 (not 30) bonus points,20 to 30 of which are assigned automatically when you pick your class. Like with warriors, it automatically puts 10 in str, 10 in sta, and 5 in agi.

I'm assuming this is a typo. Actually, I really hope it is, otherwise their stats reaaaaallly suck.

I'm glad you noticed, I was kinda wondering about that myself...those base stats are way on the low side

If I had to guess I would say they are going to Revamp Guk, and Lower Guk and make the Froglok city there to use the newbie zones of Troll/Ogre.

Then add a few 35+ zones in the old lands to get people to go back to the old lands.

Have to have the animations for all

Because Project Illusion : Froglok on a monk will result in a character that has need of those animations.

Illusion: Froglok will almost certainly change the users appearance to the new Froglok models if they have Froglok checked off under Luclin era models and use the old froglok model for the low poly version.

The new zones are designed for up to level 60's. Wonder if they will code it so that 61+ can't zone in to these zones or at least not engage any of the bosses?

Wonder then, how many will delevel to 60?

Why do you think they will re-vamp Guk and Seb models? All the old Races Guards and Merchants still have old graphics even with Luclin models on.

#1 Why would they code it so 61+ can't enter the zone? 61's can still enter seb right? /boggle
#2 IF the did code it so 61+ couldn't enter the zone.... Never mind.. because they won't.

Dunno if that happens on all the servers. It does on Sebilis (the french server).

There are 4 new mobs, skin base human (no valid skin on file), named "GukDefender" (no space between Guk and Defender) flanking the entrance to Guk in Innothule.

There are a couple of wandering HL mobs named "Invader", no faction, no skin (show as human) that wander around Upper Guk to the entrance of the zone (and get stuck there, until they reset).

Well, it says "The Frogloks of Guk". So Guk it is.

Why would they do that when they can just tune the 50 to 60 zones difficulty to match the level 65 crowd? Seems like something Sony would do to me. Who wouldn't want to farm greens for charm slot equipment at 65?

And as far as slots go... i can't wait for the "gold tooth slot"
