Question for Furor or someone that may know

I've noticed about a month ago you started using the Blade of War instead of 2 1hs weapons. What are the benefits to this? Does it have to do w/ flurry or enrage attacks? I also realize that the Blade of War has all sorts of stats and also has 50 AC at the level you are I'm sure 50 AC dosen't make all the diffrence in the world. Could you please enlighten us, I'm not saying the sword sucks it's pretty damn own if you ask me.

Maybe less ripostes(though I dont know how much of a factor that is with TM3). Probably mostly tired of using the same weapons for so long.

When mobs hit for upwards of 3k you're adding a ton of dps tanking with dual wield. Plus the ratio is good.

If he adds a ton tanking with dual wield, why is he using 2hs then?

Going Dual Wield adds a ton of damage to the mob, due to more ripostes, and when each riposte is another 2-3k you tend to want as few as possible.

Adding a ton of dps for the mob, not the player.

Hell, I've held aggro on AoW with a rocksmasher... and I have crap for AA compared to most warriors in Teir 6+ guilds vis the Legends Teir listing.

With duel wield you are just giving the mob more chances to hit you as every time you swing at them they have a chance to hit you back from your own attack. 2h weapons lesson the amount of extra damage they are going to do to you, which means less heals overall. I'd rather have the druids hitting nukes then patch healing me.

Tactical Mastery doesnt stop the mob landing damage on you with a riposte just allows your hit to land as well rather than be blocked.

Thank you for the input. I figured it had something to do w/ Ripostes and I figured w/ all the gear that Furor has it probably dosen't hurt him stat wise to use a 2hs vs. using 2 1hs.
