Gurugurumaki the player and Gurugurumaki the message board troll are entirely different people.

The original Guru was a Japanese player on Veeshan, notorious for exploiting the spectres in Feerrott. I'm sure someone here can link the classic "I no exploit use" pic -- perhaps his most characteristic moment ever captured on screen.

A year or so ago, someone (as of yet unidentified) on EQVault decided to use Guru's name to put on a "Japanese accent" and post humor. He is of no relation to the real Guru, and Lord knows where that man may be at the moment.

Heh I remember seeing that name in game. I also remember a cleric named guruguruopoppo or something like that. Was a good player opnce you got past the lack of english.

It was more like 2 years ago and virtually everyone knows who the 'fake' gurugurumaki is.
