It is not off Fennin

It's off yard trash in PoF.

Our current theory is that it's a WAY bugged drop, especially considering you can two man the rare that drops the item.

I'm sure they'll be fixing it now, if they hadn't intended on doing so before.

Since it is 2hand you are effectively losing one slot where you could wield another nice item. Therefore the stats should be devided by 2. Then it comes out as:

AC: 18
STR: +15 DEX: +18 STA: +15 WIS: +18
HP: +100 MANA: +113 SV COLD: +15 SV MAGIC: +15
SV POISON: +15
Recommended level of 31 (j/k)

It would still be a very decent 1hand item, but I would say it is about the average primary/secondary one can expect from guys who play the high end game on this level

It is funny that they adjust the mana/hps on this weapon for priest classes, but the stats on knight classes are pretty much the same.

thats because the game is balanced through items, not classes, and for the priest classes, you could make a 1000dmg 10dly and still not be much out of balance.

oh, and i dont know if you've looked at spell costs lately, but clerics get like eight spells above level 60 that costs less than 300 mana. healing and buffing isnt cheap.

I wasn't talking dam/delay, I was saying that knight weapons have a lack of hitpoints/mana equalling dual wield setups. I found it funny that they got the mana/hps right on this weapon, yet seem to turn a blind eye, for the most part, to the knights.

He said mana/hp, as in, you lose hundreds of mana/hp when not dual wielding.

Xegony's dagger had what, 160 hp?

For knights

Its a tradeoff dps versus stats. For a priest, dps through melee is too little so the stats have to compensate for now DWing (primary/shield for example).

It shouldn't have to be a tradeoff for knights, just like it shouldn't be for priests. It is comical that they upped a 2her for priests and haven't for knights.
