As an aside note, the login3 server isn't all that nice.

You see, it seems to be running some kind of old code. Without the PoP expansion code.

The symptoms are simple: if you log in using that server, PoP is disabled: can't bring up raid window, can't zone in to PoK (you can get in if you camped in it, or die, but gate drops you in your zone safe point like a succor, and the books do likewise), etc.

The login3 server seems to be used chiefly to allow people playing the euro versions (french/german) to access their servers during US patch time (euros get patches at non-euro prime time hours). Too bad they can't use PoP during that time (unless they logged in before the patch, using the login1 server).

You know, there are several redundant systems out there that companies will tell you about them when you need them that you aren't supposed to use on a regular basis. Just because you are told about them doesn't give you open reign to tell everyone and their brother and use them for all time. Hello. I'm a "special member" who left the VT farming guild for Conquest. One of a couple, but probably the most active. Just to clarify, most people who went to CQ from other guilds did it because it was their original home and it felt good to go back to them. They have very little time to raid.

Conquest came back onto Lanys a bit rusty. First of all, they had never dealt with any real competition back when they played EQ during Velious. They planned to raid with 35 people at peak times only and progress to the top of EQ once again. My being there does not do a whole lot in the realm of giving them advantages. Oh my goodness, I can give them strategies you can read at the safehouse about mobs from last expansion! As far as the gear: Hi one cleric in a CH order does no good when the others are out of mana.

I don't care what you say about the people of CQ, taking some clerics who had only played DAoC and going from teaching them how to heal on Vindi to killing an unslowed Idol of RZ on what was their 3rd night of raiding shows talent and a lot of fucking potential.
