I read the fucking threads and saw that yes, the alternative server info had been presented long ago. These people were simply logging in as per that info. That's hardly an exploit when VI is the one posting it on their boards. VI's gimp moron admins probably haven't a fucking clue about why people were doing it and didn't take the fucking time to try to find out why. Me, had I been their superior I'd have told them find out why ppl were using and how and then if it looked like someone was doing something wrong I'd have suspended them until I could adequately say for sure that they were breaking the rules. Right now, I'd wind up firing the guy that made the decision to ban. You have to be an adult when you run a business and these guys are acting like reactionary children, just like you. All that fucking changed was probably the host file, usually found in the windows or windows system subdir. +2 Internets | I think it's pretty funny that CQ is almost in VT 2 months after returning to Everquest, and is already working towards PoP advancement. Rabbit, how long has your guild been playing since CQ quit, and where are you at? And yeah I agree this doesn't belong here...no clue who the fuck the poster is though. | Conquest Just to set the record straight... Yeah, they're close to entering VT after 2 months of having their guild formed. What they're not telling you though, is that there's another guild on the same server called "Sigil" that has raided clear up past Vex Thal for nearly a year now, and that some of their members joined up with Conquest when it was formed. Many of the strategies for doing that stuff was gained from those special little members, along with much of their higher-end gear already obtained from Sigil which helps them great lengths in achieving their goals. Also take note that Conquest is not a guild that is well-spoken of on Lanys. Many people on the server know them for what they are. There legacy of assholiness stretches back to when pretty much the same guild under a different name existed called the Soul Assassins a couple years ago. Constantly they would make every effort to piss people off, stomping all over newbie raids just for laughs and taunting them to no end. Constant harrassment in ooc and shout channels, training people and laughing at them when they died, sending hateful tells about it. Not to even mention exploiting. That guild broke up, naturally. Shortly thereafter Conquest was formed and they did pretty much the same things. The stuff you heard about (the exploiting in ST and such) was merely icing on the cake. Guild broke up yet again, many members went to the game DAOC, where they exploited again and got many GM's attentions (and although I didn't play DAOC much, I heard many stories about how they acted on there, and never much was surprised). During this time - Fallen Legacy was formed, and did pretty much the same things once again. Mind you that many of the older Conquest players were engaged in playing DAOC at this time. Constantly killstealing mobs even if they were engaged first, training other guilds to kill different higher end mobs, and plenty of their trademark harrassment. This time they decided they weren't going to just break up, but in fact merge with another guild! Lots of people got kicked out and left behind, and thus Sigil was created. Sigil went into Vex Thal and made bold claims about how no other guild would ever get in there, while they claimed players didn't have the right to farm shards because they would never see the inside of VT. Sigil ended up being both a good and bad guild, most of the actual decent players from the other guild merged with called Visions. Then recently Conquest comes back from the dead after they left DAOC. Many of the old players are now back and wrecking havoc once again. And yes, they still use exploits (while the GM's aren't around at least). They still do the same old things they did in the beginning. Things like wiping like newbies on mobs and blaming other guilds that weren't near them, ninja-looting items from other guild's kills, training people, harrassment in-game as well as on the message boards. And things like exploiting as we see here - a decisive advantage over other players that was not intended by the game's developers - exploiting. And so much more... |

Too bad the rather lengthy diatribe you just posted is full of utter shit, and indicates not only a clear lack of knowledge about CQ but also points to some IRL bitterness from your part (reject applicant? dickless wonder from a rival guild?), having "followed" my guild from one game to another to "record" our "exploits". In shorter words, You clueless obsessive bitch. |
