Network LD Ok I did a search for routers on the websight and I still Cant figure this out... I have two computers that I want to run Everquest on. I connect through Qwest Cable. I have a Linksys router that I did have them hooked up too but was going LD every 30 min. I read some of the previous posts and checked the "knowledge base" (wow that was a waste of time) but am still having problems. I just want to be able to run EQ on both comps without going LD every 30 min. If anyone out there knows how to explain this I would much appreciate it! step by step or whatever etc. thewaytobe1200@hotmail.com

You can try installing new firmware on your router, probably at linksys.com However, many people are having connection problems lately, and the whole internet system is still reeling from the latest virus, so your problems may just work themselves out eventually.

You need to enable something called "port triggering." In the router's setup configuration utility (http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1), it's under "Advanced" and "Forwarding." It'll pop up a window; put in "EverQuest" for the application, and set both the trigger and incoming port ranges to be from 1024 to 7000.
