| Patch tonight - Place your bets There's a 10 hour downtime patch going live tonight. Rumored to be in it includes the "bard box", some stuff you can look at on Lucy, and a character format change (?). Post here before servers come up on how many of which kind of bugs will be live (assuming they come back up at all). Winner gets a free thumbs up Class 0 - Complete Game Breakage - Healing spells fail to land. Melee damage is applied to the wrong target. Characters are naked or have the wrong gear upon loading. Zoning from GFay to Crushbone takes you to Rallos Zek's chamber Class 1 - Rampant Exploits - Virtue stacks with itself. Items are dupable through trivial combination of trading and zoning. Mark of Karn imposes a several-hundred point ds. Ornate BP molds are foraged in Plane of Knowledge Class 2 - Minor Breakage - Spells don't stack when they should. Flowing Thought items apply double or half what they normally would. Bards unable to get past character select Class 3 - Annoyances - All your item icons are wrong. You can't right-click an item from your corpse to your equipment. Clerics and Wizards unable to summon pets. Class 4 - Postponed till next patch - Bards deleted entirely. Spelling errors in spell messages. Displayed AC and ATK values aren't correct. |

| those are some great ideas frnd dont forget to add: 1) pacification spells being cast on an npc will cause zone wide agro one every player character in the zone 2) item stats reported incorrectly - with the new way character data is stored all stats on items with required/recommended levels will either show up as 1 or be in tripple digits 3) ornate/elemental armor effects been replaced with variations of summon: alcohol spells 4) bards deleted (oh wait you didn't miss this one) 5) all characters lose all flags and/or keys on their /keyring |

| I think SoE has done fairly well in the last few patches by not screwing up anything particularly important. So I'll go with some minor annoyances and bugs, bards deleted, and monitors exploding for those who play them. |

| I have a better idea All Bards are going to become either SK's, Pallys or Warriors. The stealth of this patch is the fact that they are getting rid of Bards all together and don't want anyone to know.

| I'll take Class 3 with a single specific Class 0 With what they're doing I think you'll find everything works fairly well except if you're unlucky enough to fall into some obscure category, eg. you died to a dot 6 hours before the patch in an arena in which case you'll be fucked. That or there will be some other obscure bug that no one will trigger for a week and then they'll have to patch it |

+16 Internets | Those NPCs in POK know whats up. They exist for the sole purpose of dredging up elemental molds from that penny pond. My favorite was still the dervishes dropping high end kunark loot and the lanys vs. firiona gm event loot like the petrified bark legs and writs of innoruk ;p

| New windowed mode + new character database + new buff window? I'm guessing there's going to be at least one major bug, probably involving either random item loss, or random item dupes. Plus bards will be broken, but it's patch day so that can be taken as read. I think EQ is possibly beginning to reach the levels (or depths?) of UO patch days. |

| For them to make EQ to windowed mode wont be hard for them, what they will probobly end up doing is this... Verant Dev goes to eqw dot com, downloads eqw Renames it to Everquest_Window.exe Windowed EQ done
