| apparently the reward is that you'll get twice as much experience as in a group, the risk is basically that you'll get the same amount of experience as in a group...how exactly do those two match up? the reward for doing well one day more than makes up for the risk of failing on another, there is no risk of anything except experience lost which is clearly being gained in insane abundance as the reward. this is like a lottery where you "risk" a dollar to enter, but the minimum prize is a dollar. if it turns out that you're just not really up to the task of charming monsters, you don't freaking do it anymore and therefore stop losing anything from it.
on the one hand you argue that enchanters shouldn't have to sit there for hours LFG, and then on the other you are telling everyone that if they're really lucky an enchanter will group with them. i totally agree that enchanters shouldn't have a boring job in this game, no class should, but you don't have to give them pets with this insane power in order for them to not be bored. it's freaking overkill, and if you don't see that then you haven't an ounce of objectivity. and for the record, "but i've always done this" wasn't even a good reason when we were in kindergarten. |
