A bit of hope for casters

now we can fight the BG bosses easier because they are the only mobs in game pve worth fighting.

I just hope this is a change for all instances of attacker vs defender, namely pets too. Incredibly annoying that when soloing a pet can trivially hold aggro on any green or yellow, and usually oranges, but has no chance in hell of ever landing a growl on a red, ever. I've feigned 45 seconds into a fight, shot one Scorpid and started a pet heal and they run for me ..

If they are increasing the HP then what the hell is the point of the change? I get to show off a bigger e-peen in DamageMeter? Yay?

it's called "balance" they increase the dps raids can do by letting casters land spells reliably, and increase hp accordingly so that the boss mobs stay at the same approximate difficulty level.

this is not a complicated idea to understand.

I find it refreshing that the devs. finally admit that caster dps wasn't all it was cracked up to be -- Maybe we can kill Ragnaros now since we have 0 hunters and 8 mages on raids...

It is most definatley in. We cleared MC tonight and I parsed against all of the bosses. I almost fell over dead after Mag when I had all of 1 resist. It was a nice feeling. Think I had 2 resists on Sulfuron and I forget the number, but a 10% resist on Golemagg, and that was the worst of the night.

The thing that makes me laugh about this is the actual statement. They say it as if we havent been complaing about the resist curve since beta. Mobs 3+ levels were resisting more than intended, and you just now realize it. Why not just say, yeah we realize casters needed some help, so here you go. Anyways, I guess no reason to bitch now, its a great and welcome change.
