Thats odd.. seems to me they do. I se elots of people that cannto go beyond poP tier 3 zones or playmore then 30 hours a week looking for that "perfect group". The fact is unless you are content with half a yellow of AA exp per 8 hour session at level 65 you better be in a group with a slower and a cleric and be in a tier 2 PoP zone.

Mostly low level content compared to what people that frequent this board do.. Velkor, Vindi, Statue.. that sort of stuff.. and some PoP tier 1 - 2 bosses.

At first that was the case but toward the end we did fairly well.

No it was never perfection.. then again we also never zerged.

I quit EQ for a year and a half and I don't have a level 60.
That really makes no difference as I seem to have more of a clue than yourself.

SKs I know usually have no trouble.
They can pull and MT better than a warrior. Even Paladins can MT better than a warrior in XP groups.
People have lost the prejudice that only Warriors can tank.
I have no trouble getting in groups with my paladin. I usually get groups easier on my paladin than my warrior (and my warrior has better gear).

With Planes of Power exp, casual gamers are now able to shoot up in levels at an incredible rate. Then they reach that "plateau." That's what I call it. When you log on and find absolutely nothing to do. I reached it during the Velious expansion. All I really enjoyed doing was exp'ing with friends and camp various quest pieces. I was pretty casual at that time... Didn't play much. Then I reached the point where I was level 60 and got everything that I could at a solo-level. And I got bored and started whining, yadda yadda, blah blah.

There were casual gamers who played even less than me. Those flock of players are now finding themselves level 61-65 [and some decent AA] with nothing to do now because of the fast leveling rate of PoP. They are now reaching that "plateau" that I think many of us were at prior to joining a "big" guild. Whether it was reached during Kunark, Velious, Luclin, or Planes of Power, I'm sure many can understand how it felt being there. It was boring, and I'm sure some people didn't even play for weeks or maybe months before coming back and saying, "Hell with it. I'm investing more time and joining a guild."

One thing is for certain though... Planes of Power is majorly keyed/flagged off. So being on that "plateau" is worse than it's ever been. Having people quit permanently instead of for a few weeks or months is highly likely.

Necros blow every other class out of the water soloing. Take your garden variety 65 necro, hand them undead charm, send him to CoD, and watch him get an AA every 15 minutes. Necros own all else soloing.

Which makes one wonder why a class that has the ability to Feign Death, Harmshield, and ToM (can crit a 3k heal in 1.8 seconds for 450 mana) has the ability to charm.
