Sony ordering Legacy without asking...

I, and a few others I have spoken to have found out that our EQ accounts have been signed up for Pre-Order of Legacy of Ykesha when we never asked to. Last night I was looking at past billing history on my account and was shocked to see that my account was signed up for pre-order for LOY.

I even checked to see if I got a confirmation email as well, but I didn't.
I even both with other people who DID pre-order it, but NEVER got a confirmation email.

I've also been told by many people that when they first logged onto EQ the day of that patch it automatically threw them into a window "making" them pre-order the expansion without them saying yes or no. This is NOT a lie.
I know 90% of people will end up getting the expansion anyways, but this isn't the way I want to do it.

This is a pretty big issue here Sony. Don't sit around and assume I am here lying to start trouble. Look into it it and please fix it NOW!

ok heres what happened, you know when you log into EQ after you dl a patch and you get the little news message? well usually in the lower right corner there is the next button, they put the pre order button where the next button usually is, and they put the next button on the other side. so a lot of people who are so used to where all the buttons are accidentally pushed the pre order button ( me included ) but its not a big deal, since it doesnt bill the card till the day it comes out (feb 24) and you can go to sony online store and cancel if you werent planning to pre order

still, they couldda thought about that before they put it there lol

TBH its a pretty good scam they got going there.

The very least they could do is swap the buttons so that the "Preorder" button is not where the "I accept" (eula) button usually is.

That way people at least would have to make a concious choice to preorder, as opposed to now, where you the first time you see it is very close to accidently pressing the preorder button, simply because you want to hurry and get into the game.

They shouldn't have the option to order the expansion ANYWHERE in the game code, or patcher code. Too easy for someone to scam you. Room mate, your son, your daughter, etc ..

Actually, after I hit "OK" to accept downloading files for Ykesha, it automatically (as in I didn't press anything) pre-ordered the expansion for me.

Maybe one day you werent paying attention becuase you were to busy researching the drops off the froglok chef on everlore, and clicked ok to the little box that shows up. ass.
