| Elemental bps have avatar as a 2.0 sec cast instead of 6.0. Legs have much better effects; Aura of Valor (I think, one of the good ones anyway) instead of Shield of Maelin. Hybrid boots have Veng instead of FT. All the caster gloves now give mana preservation to a 61+ nuke instead of the crap they did before (20% for orante, 25% for elemental), and on nice nukes too like Strike of Solusek and Summer's Flame, etc. Elemental wizard legs have 2.0 sec concussion, druid legs have level 65 group DS. All in all, looks like we're in for some even better effects on the PoP armor when we log in tomorrow.

| Yeah because Primal (a 13/20 wep) is so much better than what can be attained long before you even see the elemental planes. /roll eyes. SoL weps blow Primal away in effectiveness in everything exept Avatar... The BPs are simply to let us get rid of Primals. /applaud. Good move imo. Quote:

Why? From a Rogue point of view if ANY mob does any one of these things we'd be better off as ANY other class. Rogues in Kunark were at a point where they probably should have been nerfed. Not much in the Rogue class has really changed. The BIGGEST changes have been in the encounter design... and no one stopped to think about how certain aspects of what seems like more and more PoP encounters are severely handicapping Rogues. Don't get me wrong. Rogues kick some serious butt. But in any encounter that we are unable to melee (I gave 3 examples above) we become the casters of early SoV. Not being able to melee as a Rogue is the equivelent of 100% Magic Resistant Mobs to Casters. | |
