| *Reducing* melee power? By providing every melee the means to reach +atk cap with their class elemental armor? By making Ferocity and all the 2h damage aa's? Or do you mean by making level 65 spells out of reach of the average joe? 50/44 droppable 2h? Most of the melee I know have done pretty darn well from PoP. Those at the top end of SoL gear are still waiting for their bonanza, but that's the way it was with people in top of the line SoV gear, too, a year ago. |

| Just a quick comment on weapon skill mods....apparently just about everything in the client got changed to a DWORD with the last patch. This includes skills, from what I heard. Don't know if they mean to implement skill mod items taking a PC above 252, but they could do it now.

Remember, they balance us assuming we have all spells and new focuses, so until every caster does, guess what? they are fucked. least you can keep using your old sword, and not have it be less effciant than your new sword cause you havent found a fucking bracer yet. PoP added some efficiantcy, it did little for actual DPS. In some cases it traded efficaintcy away for added DPS, hardly a welcome outcome on longer targets, where you still switch back to slow, but more efficaint spells. Least -some- of the AA is redeming. | |
