Hrmm "in beta, bixies dropped "a bixie stinger" a 1/10 weapon(peircing)" It was a better ratio then 1/10 in its origional form, I just can't seem to recall what exactly it was. It was between 1/3 and 1/5, but it got nerfed a few times and then removed all togeather as a weapon. Plat

Shortly (say 2 months) after Kunark came out they had one of those weeks where the servers came down for patches 2-3 times a day. One of those days you could forage any item that normall dropped in that zone. I foraged a lammy (back when it was uber) out of seb.

.. Good one for mages was summon a fire pet. Get an insta click reclaim engery item, when the pet starts casting a spell on himself mass spam it with Reclaim. It doesn't disappear until the spell finishes and you get FM. New these two mages who'd do Karnors AE and clear the entire place almost with a cleric and chanter. phat

Only major bug i can remember was when mages could summon as many pets as they wanted. Something along the line of summon pet, summon eye, kill eye, summon another pet i think. Someone on our server soloed kelorek dar that way.

Hehe. Was also this pathing bug in Crystal Caverns and I think it's the Bridge Room or whatever. Just stood in center, and AoE DoT their asses. Probably not even fixed... I mean who really goes to CC anyways? | |

CC still has the pathing error. There's one in PoD too. They're everywhere, really. The mobs just stand there and die. Bixie stingers were still weapons for a short time after release. My beta chars were gnomes and they never got past level 5 so I didn't kill any bixies, but I remember looting bixie stingers with damage/delay as Morb after release. I think they were only 3/24 or something though, so I guess their overpowered ratio was only in beta.

Around release time, tiny daggers were equippable weapons. The difference was, their skill was archery. So you could equip a tiny dagger and train up your archry skill very easy. Also, you could forage a weapon called "pine needles" that was archery skill.

The log of a monk soloing a jugg was posted to monkly business sometime in kunark before MoK was nerfed. He was wielding a moss-covered twig and efreeti war banner (3/10, non-magic 1hb). The jugg was enc slowed and MoK'd. and he used riposte /disc on the jugg's enrage. and if i remember right, this was after the MCT nerf, so he was using it offhand and the warbanner main. not that it really matters, since they're both 3/10. for a few weeks before PoP came out, i was /feedbacking every day to get mistwalker unnerfed, so that it could a semi-useful toy instead of a worthless toy. :/
