I have always assumed potimeb would be the "final" zone. The thing I found interesting is that potimeb has a table with maps/war plans and globe near it just like near Rallos Zek in Tactics.

Here is the picture someone had posted from potimeb

That area in PoInnovation that you can't get to with the clock machine will be where people initially enter the plane of time. You have to complete the clockwork talisman quest by getting the 4 elemental essenses to create the power source for it. This will put you in PoTimeA. Then you get to PoTimeB where the whole "Megaman" area is by doing whatever it is you're supposed to do in PoTimeA.
You're an idiot.

But I read a thread on the Safehouse where some level 52 Rogue said the Talisman would be the key to the Plane of Time!

IT MUST BE!

i heard from a guy who knows a girl who works for this other guy who haxx0red a classified doc file from the VI database that the elemental gods are all going to have bane weaponry.

BTW, you'll need to equip your entire guild with them.

You kill the first tiamat with earth
the next(3 headed dragon) with fire
the next(2 headed dragon) with water
the final dragon with air

and then Zu'ul the Destroyer spawns in Marshmellow-Man form and kills all of you.

(This event will trigger the final Sleeper script, wherein he and the marshmellow man are hurled back in time to before-creation, and their titanic struggle causes the big bang to occur. Damn those paradoxes...)

Now, the clockwork talisman may not be the key. I should have put some kind of disclaimer in that post. I was basing the assumption on the need for 4 elemental essenses to complete the last part. My idea is based on fact from the game, from my own experiance. I do not have access to the elemental planes yet and did not know that essenses of the respective elements dropped from normal mobs. However, this is how the story has it worked out right now.

Fact:There is an area in PoInnovation that has a set of clocks surrounding a machine, people who have accidentally fallen down there have tried clicking it and get the message "This machine has nothing to power it" or something along those lines.

Fact:One of the elders mentions that Meldrath The Marvelous who resides/is trapped in the Plane of Innovation created a machine that could pierce into the Plane of Time. However the power source from that machine would require a combination of the essenses of all 4 elements. Meldrath the Marvelous is also referred to in a few books that can be found in the PoK. He is the "good" siamese (gnomese?) twin of Meldrath the Malignant from the Steamfont Mino caves. His brother turned all his machines bad and he is now trapped in there.

Fact:The talisman quest does ask for essenses of the elements to complete it. I mistakenly made the assumption that it was the logical progression and would lead to a key. However, there is another mention of combining the 4 elements.

There is a recipe for a multielemental glaze that requires ingrediants from all the elemental planes to create it. This recipe is given in the Plane of Tactics and may have been part of Rallos Zek's own efforts to gain such a mighty power source. This too could be totally wrong.

What does make sense (and I'm giving Sony credit here since most of the story in PoP does actualy make sense), is that something from Fennin Ro, Xegony, The Rathe and Corinav will be needed for access to the Plane of Time.

For the trolls: Everything that isn't stated as a fact is my own speculation.

Knowing VI we'll all have to do talisman quest and get flags from each respective elemental god to zone in..

You need to kill stuff in the teir 4 planes in order to make the boss in PoTime killable sort of like the other zones. the way you get into PoTimg has nothing to do with the tier 4 planes.

You get the key to the plane of time after you complete all the book quests in PoK then you are able to access the PoTime but cant do much till you do the quest in the 4 tier 4 planes and make stuff killable.

The name "Stronghold of the Twelve" would seem to imply that it houses the pantheon and that it is in fact the final stop. Which leaves the matter of how exactly you're supposed to spawn the elemental gods.
