| Downloading game files. Long story short, lost the Luclin disk and trying to install on a new machine. Now I know if you delete some of the files the patcher will replace them. The question I have is this: Exactly what do I need to copy from my old computer to get my new computer to think the luclin disk is on it. Thanks in advance for any helpful responses. | I would say... Just copy the patcher, lpatch.exe, and all those sorts of things (and the patcher XML files), and that SHOULD (in theory) work. I make no assertions about success, though. I don't know 100% how the patcher ascertains installations of expansions. |

| Just copying the *patch.exe files used to work fine. But after Luclin was released they set a limit on the amount of data you can DL from the patch server. Limit is so low the patch won't even run from just installing an original EQ cd too. |

| EQ doesn't make any registry entries (necessary ones, anyway), so you can just copy the EQ directory from your old computer to your new one... preferably over a network, but copied in segments on CD's works too. That's how I did it a year ago or so.
