I guarantee one of the catalysts for this was they saw how many people paid $40 for the Grunty pet and figured they could get alot more business for $10.

It honestly has no ingame impact so who cares. Well, unless you consider having a pet count towards the pet achievement an impact, which unto itself has no impact in the game

Oh silly Dumar, this is America! If Bobby Kotick (anyone, really... he's just the punching bag of the month) could figure out a way to get you to legally sign away your organs when agreeing to a EULA, he'd do it faster than you could say "oh shit, where's my liver?".

Wrong. I won't complain and I stopped playing. But I guess the majority will swallow this like they do with the blizzard cum every single time.

I think I'm done with MMOs, the trend in developing bullshit-stuff instead of good stuff is frankly unappealing to me and they offer nothing truly worth experiencing anymore.

Anyway, peace.

Speaking of Kotick, is someone fucking with his Wiki? I can't believe some of the quotes that come out of this guys mouth.

Kotick received significant criticism for stating, "We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games." Kotick later stated he tries to promote an atmosphere of "skepticism, pessimism, and fear" in his company and, "We are very good at keeping people focused on the deep depression."

lol? I guess he is the fascist version of a CEO wingnut.

FEAR, PESSIMISM, SKEPTICISM (AKA BASHING CREATIVITY) = SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS.

laugh or cry at this. Im sure its satire but can't be far from the truth.

I bet eventually they use the excuse if there is enough of a backlash that this is how they pay for the revamps of the zones for Cataclysm since everybody is getting them "free".

I personally believe it further ruins the integrity of the game, not that anybody cares about that. They won't lose enough subs over this for it to matter.

I love the retarded nerd emo-rage every time a game has in-game sellables. People act like because they can't get the smurf hippo of love by raiding for it, the world is coming to an end.

When you can buy shit that breaks the game, I'll join your little wrist cutting extravaganza or emotion.
