| I was RAF leveling when it first came out, on my 70 paladin and a 70 mage. by no means does it require any sort of amazing gear for an 80. It just helps make it a bit faster.

| Why wouldn't you just use the TBC 10 day trial to boost in ramparts if you were going to use it? We did a couple RAF this weekend took 12 hours 1-60. 1-8 questing 8-15 Ragefire 15-20 SFK 20-40 SM 40-50 ZF 50-60 Scholomance. Clear up to and including the viewing room then reset. Used an FOK rogue for all spots.

| It allows you to zone into Ramparts though if that's where you want to do 55-60. It's also really nice to quest 58-60 if you're not 3 boxing, triple xp still works until you ding over to 60+.

| Power leveling implies , imo, that the person getting the levels is the one actually doing the work. Either through damage shields, buffs, etc. In this case, the levelee isn't doing shit. They are playing patty cake at the zone line while the level 80 pwns the zone. Hence.. "boosting". |

+29 Internets | It just isn't the same.. EQ1 back in the day when a level one could have KEI Speed of the Shissar, Temperance... Good times. I kind of miss EQ1 buff system... Kind of.

+17 Internets | So my hunter is up to 44 very close to 45 with 5 days played. I've got a friend who RAF'd with his girlfriend, they're both 43 with 1 day, 9hrs played. And that's with her being new to the game and requiring his help with some simple stuff, and a lot of explaining.

| Yeah it goes really fast. At the risk of this being changed before I can exploit it on my goblin. You can somewhat do something like that, If you've got a level 80 resto/boomkin Pop all trinkets do whatever you can to get max spell power, give the lowbie thorns, if the lowbie touches the mob once, you'll get full XP and thorns will one shot it since thorns is increased by spell power. Makes 1-20 an absolute joke, just run up and melee things then they die instantly. There needs to be an option to hide posts from certain people.. You know who you are /glare

| As far as I know from my 4 years playing a Resto druid, thorns, just like all buffs, is a buff that is scaled based on the level of the person you are casting. Does it not work like that anymore? Or you saying even with a lower tier of thorns being casted, with all the spell power it still one shots mobs level 1-20? |
