As most of you may of seen, I have a very short attention span, so like 15 days to level? way to long. Which is why I'm using this method, but I've found someone to do it with. So I'm sorry to say but, THE POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED(Shoots tennis ball out of nose).

I still get a kick out of how fast leveling is when you are boosting through SM Cath.

It's almost like typing /level 20 in DaoC and clicking your trainer like a madman.

Yeah, It's soooo easy to level in SM

Like the second you hit 30, just go to cath, aggro whitemane, kill instance.
rinse repeat.

While it's nice to RAF to 60, it's really fast even without it. I made a n00b rogue for fun, and after a month, he's sitting at 70. That's not playing hardcore in any manner.

I just started playing recently and leveled to 70 in 8 days without RAF and I also was keeping up with my Blacksmithing and Mining. It's extremely easy to level compared to any other MMO I've played, they just give away xp with questing.

You can do that starting at 20, btw.

but is the XP good enough to validate going to cath?

Lvl 20's getting xp from lvl 40's

It's based on the fact you can aggro EVERYTHING at once.

Seeing as I've RAF'd and sold about 100? level 60 accounts across multiple realms I suggest using a paladin as the preferred rusher 1-60. As Alliance I've found the best progression to be:

1-10 Quest/Kill shit
10-15 Deadmines
15-20 Stockade
20-45 SM
45-(55)60 Stratholme

The bottleneck normally catches at Stockade and Stratholme waiting for instance resets. Sometimes you get it in the latter levels during SM since you have to only run 2? of the wings rather than all 4. I just recently did a druid 1-60 using RAF and it took me 6 hours (did it in one sitting) PLAYED.

(55)60-65 is pretty stupid fast too using Ramparts, you can do the entire instance in 1 pull. I've never tried Ramparts at 55 since I was just selling plain accounts so I couldn't really vouch for it.

Seriously considering, due to how bored I am with everything, to come back to WoW on a little warrior or something. One of the few classes I've never played.

How geared does this paladin need to be? 80 with quest blues/greens? or full-on endgame tank gear?
