SOE gives out free content all the time, for EQ2 at least. Most of the Game Updates (of which there have been 53 official ones) usually add more to the game.

I got a super sweet idea for Smed, it will tie in perfectly with his new monetizing ideas!!

For the next EQ expansion drop the price down to $10, but make it so there is only a 30% chance the box will actually have a CD key inside. It will be just like this new dungeon from the card game!! Good Times!

This is EQ we're talking about. Make it a 2% chance to have the CD key, and each store only gets one box per week.

LoN is a successful product pulling in plenty of money. This doesn't surprise me. And it's one dungeon that you didn't have before. It's not taking away content from you. It's adding something that you may or may not end up experiencing because you either don't want to play the card game or don't want to group with people that do.

Since we are now arbitrarily deciding who can enter dungeons based on things that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual game, how about for the next wow dungeon anyone from California cannot enter. Because, you know, they didnt take any content away from you or anything.
