+60 Internets | How many MMO's do you play? So we got into a deep discussion about data and statistics and my mind instantly went to FoH. If you guys are ok with it, and I understand if not, please don't respond, I'd love to mine some data about this group and MMO's. The more responses the better obviously. Two pieces of data for the Poll question that are relevant. Sex: (not a yes/no question) Age: What is your 'price point' for MMO's? How much is TOO much for a monthly Sub? Or what is the maximum dollar amount you'd pay for a subscription based monthly MMO? Also, if you answered 1 but rotate a 2nd, or if you move around a 2nd please let me know, that's relevant! And not that this is rocket science, but I'll post the data of the results here when we have a large enough sample size. Given the HUGE size of this forum and the bend towards MMO's I'm wondering how close the results will be to the bets....

| Just the one, my brotha. Not really interested in Aion, but I have been leaning towards picking up LotRO to play with some guildies in my off time. I just have a few other games I want to plow through first before I do it. 27 male, if it makes a difference, though for the right price I could be 17/f/backseat of your car.

+78 Internets | Male 27 Currently subbed to one MMO. The current subscription rates are on par with what I would pay for a new MMO. Older ones I would pay up to 10 bucks a month and ones that are no longer generating new content I would pay 5 bucks a month. Last edited by Hatorade; 10-06-2009 at 08:16 AM.. |

+6 Internets | Sex: M Age: 24 Answered 3. WoW, Aion, and EVE. I should qualify the inclusion of eve though, as I don't actively play it, just still have it subscribed to train and let my friends use the account till I feel like going back to the game. |

| Voted 1 Male, 23 The $50 up front, $15 a month method works just fine for me. EQ1 was $10 a month back in the day, but that was a decade ago, inflation and all that, as long as the game doesn't suck, 5 extra dollars a month isn't bankrupting anyone. |

+2 Internets | Voted: 1 Had as many as three but as I get older and do things like own a home I only have time to be involved with one game at a time. M / 32 for demographics I'd probably cap a monthly fee at $25-$30 or so. That still falls under the "less than one night of good drinking" rule for MMO frugality but for that amount I would expect a much better experience given the rest of the market prices. |

+6 Internets | Would have voted 0 if it was an option. Not playing any MMOs atm due to time constraints. I have never been subscribed to multiple MMOs for more than a month or two, though. M / 25 / Price not an issue for a "full-time" MMO, it's dirt cheap entertainment anyway |

| On The Neverending MMOG Merry-Go-Round | Male 38 Just 1, I really dont have time to play more than 1 game, hell I don't have time to play even 1 game usually. I would pay up to $25 per month if it offered more than what is on the market currently for the money. I would not pay more than $!5 for something that is not giving me more than the current market is. New and shiny does not = giving me more.

You better be sure you have a damn good reason to even contemplate this. It's really hard to say how much I would pay without knowing what the hell I would be paying for.
