You know Its going to happen; Horde players will fight alongside Sylvannas in the 10/25 man as well, at 40% she'll show up and start dropping traps for you to tranq arthas. all while hes shooting shadow volleys throughout his asshole and spewing doomfire from his dick. as hes about to die jaina will show up hell confess his love and shell just flip him the bird. the end of the lich king.

And then Sylvanas will declare that she now feels empty inside because a huntress is nothing without the hunt, at which point Garosh will appear, kick her undead from the Horde and some Deus Ex Machina that none of us saw coming (yeah right) will cause Arthas to live again, replacing Varian as head of the Alliance.

I imagine they'll use the King's model for the Halls of Reflection. They've got an opportunity to do something really cool with that zone. Hopefully having you either witness or fight the events that shaped the lich king, or things occupying his thoughts. Since it is Arthas' meditation chambers...

Could be cool, or could be a massive time waste like the begining of CoT. Either or.

Well the storyline up to this point says no, but it's not beyond them to retcon the shit out of everything. I just don't think it makes a better story then us damning him for eternity. I mean personally I wanted the entire wotlk storyline to end up being a huge con run by Sylvanas. She 'accidentally' loses track of Putress, Putress attacks the horde/alliance, the horde/alliance wipe out her partners in crime but she remains 'innocent, Arthas is weakened by the attack and the horde and allliance are busy killing each other. Then when we kill the Lich King, she takes control of the remaining scourge and wipes everyone out and places herself as the new Lich Queen, overpowering Nerzul and taking full posession of his powers.

Then the factions splinter. With a 3-way Alliance - Horde - Scourge battle going on, with new players getting to choose whether to start as either horde or scourge, or alliance or scourge. It makes my peener tingle.

Then again, I also felt that phase 3 of Yogg'Saron should have involved him chasing us back through the remains of Ulduar and along the way we had to destroy pillars and bring the entire prison back down on top of him and that we wouldn't kill him so much as trap him beneath the ruins of Ulduar once again.

But much like Illidan where we were told "You don't kill him so much as...get in his way" and then 3 months later there we are standing over his cold, lootable body Blizzard is decent enough at creating fun encounters "OMG CATCH THE BALLS...CATCH THEM WITH YOUR MOUTH" they aren't exactly that great at giving you a decent ending.

I'd think the redemption is going to be along the line that as we give the final blow to Arthas, Ner'zhul leaves his body, Arthas realize what he did, give us a NOOOOO a la Darth Vador before croaking, then Ner'zhul carry on by possessing someone else.

Hell yeah, when Putress attacks at the Wrathgate, I was never more proud to be undead. They basically lead up to that point all through the undead questlines and for Sylvanas to end up being like "GOSH I HAD NO IDEA!" completely ruins the race. Why have me running all over Hillsbrad if I'm just going to end up sucking everyone's dick in the end anyway. The Lich Queen storyline would parallel nicely with Kerrigan as well.

If some people on the board had it their way, they would make it non-instanced and then afterwards the community of tradeskillers have to come and rebuild Ulduar before it can be raided again. Also you have to make carts and roads and it takes 45 minutes to travel there (weather permitting) and there is no autorun. If you get jumped by a wolf pack (that hunts YOU) on the road it breaks your cart and you have to start all over again. Also, Yogg'Saron drops a cloth cap.

Seriously though, whoever is going to pull a Blizzard and grab cool community people to develop their next MMO should grab ZV (and me of course). Someone who loves WoW but can see where it needs to improve. I am never going to leave WoW for a WoW clone, and we're going to need something compelling for serious MMOers to move to after this.

I'm not so sure, bearing in mind that Shadowmourne looks like someone stuck a couple of pieces of a broken Frostmourne back together with chewing gum then tied it to a stick.
