| Raid Weekly Quests New daily (most likely Weekly) raid quests have been added to the game! They currently reward you with Emblem of Frost x 10.
yay? also some spells have been data-mined about reforging a sword named Quel'Delar, all the tempering, cleansing (in sunwell no less) and hearing voices from the sword itself to go some place look like they could have been meant to be for the Ashbringer if Blizzard weren't dicks about player ever being able to get a cleansed Ashbringer ever so they put in this replacement |

| World of Warcraft Community Site Am I reading this right? All of Icecrown Citadel is going to be a 5-man instance and not a 25-man raid? After all this time and lead-up to the final confrontation with Warcraft's biggest villain, it culminates in a 5-man battle? |

+19 Internets | Well this pretty much confirms the rumors that Cataclysm is being pushed for a spring/summer 2010 release amirite? [pic not mine - from google] ![]() 1.12 was August 22, 2006 2.0.1 was December 5, 2006 2.4 was March 3, 2008 3.0 was October 10, 2008 3.3 PTR was October 1, 2009 Following this trend 4.0 will be hitting live servers approximately around May/June, which isn't unprecedented for Blizzard: Diablo II - PC - GameSpy June 30, 2000 for Diablo 2. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction - PC - GameSpy June 30, 2001 for Diablo 2 expansion. Last edited by Dandai; 10-02-2009 at 05:41 AM.. |

What, doesn't activity normally struggle during the summer, because "Oh outside shiny" or something?

+19 Internets | Giving serious consideration whether to resub for this or not. On the one hand, it's Arthas. Been wanting to kill that fucker for years. On the other hand, goddamn the content has been boring lately. It's really going to come down to the raid fights. If it's no more interesting than ToC... meh. |

| I'll give Aion a try and maybe after I finish the christmas game onslaught I will come back to WoW, the longer you go without it the easier it is to skip the next patch. On one hand it looks pretty sweet and I'm sure it will be the best instance to date, on the other hand, clearing the same shit 3-4 times a week is a highway to boredom. |

| As Cybsled said: Nope. The 5-man, or, rather, the 3 different 5-man versions involve you assisting either Jaina or Sylvanas in sabotaging stuff and disrupting the whole Scourge war machine in Icecrown, as a softening black ops, to make things easier for the final assault. THEN (in game history - you don't have to do it to be flagged or anything for the raid), you are supposed to participate in the raid. And yes, you're going to encounter the Lich King in his own meditation/rest area, which is going to probably cause a pretty big rumble, seeing as you either come along with his former Love Interest (Jaina) or worst Ennemy (Sylvanas). He's going to abscond, but expect him to "remember" you when you arrive on floor 4 of the Citadel. After all, you've been meeting him a few times already, since Borean / Howling... |
