| I am still on the fence when it comes to server. I can't help but think if I join the crowd here it will come back to bite me in the ass...again. Nothing kills a pvp game quicker then having the top pvp guilds on your server mass exodus once the new car smell has worn off. I also can't shake the feeling that if I do go someplace else I will miss out on some damn good pvp heh. I hate being torn so close to launch. Maybe the best answer is to just wait a few weeks after launch to get a feel for how things are shaping up. I expect a bunch of people to cave before ever reaching max level. |

The people who tend to stick around in horribly designed games are the shitty players who perform better after all of the skiled players leave. That's why you will continue playing on your 100 person emulated server, and why almost all MMORPG's, no matter how bad they are, end up with a niche playerbase. A guild could be 1,000 in WoW, but top 5 in LOTRO and that is addicting to some, which is why they stick with it. The most skilled players are going to be attracted to the best designed and most popular MMORPG's. If you are skilled enough to dominate anywhere, you might as well do it in the highest populated and most competitive game out there. For the time being, that looks to be Aion so the best pvpers will likely be moving to Aion. That's attractive to me, and something that I find worth my time to compete in. An emulated server with crappy design and crappy players like you, most of which were hacking, isn't worth my time. If you are worth anything, you would be playing Aion like the rest of us but we both know you aren't even a decent pvper and would never step foot in a competitive MMORPG so why are you wasting your time in this thread?
