We are definately shooting for getting the server up. We are putting some finishing touches on the Chaos zones (making it so you cant zone out when PVP engaged) then we will release it with instructions. It'll be on the website, but i'll post here as well.

5x exp for pvp dungeons
2x exp for pvp outdoor zones

ok so basically dont bother going to any dungeon that isn't PVP.

I don't see why you don't just make it all pvp, but w/e!

If every zone is PVP it spreads the playerbase out. This is enforcing PVP action. Also giving you the option to level without being ganked if you so choose. The risk vs reward will always be greater in a PVP zone though.

Are you using PEQ open source code and you just modified that? I mean Im going to try this out but I'm pretty worried its going to be the same shit that plagued vz/tz (same imbalances[which i will exploit], same hacks[which i will use], same shit)

Of course Im just doing this for beta, i would never hack the real server bros

We are using the PEQ DB which is modified. I'm hoping people can hack or use bugs so that hopefully we can make code changes to fix it. Hence what beta is for.

yes it is modifed code, but hey are familiar with the TZ/VZ bugs, try them out see what you can exploit,t hats the idea.

Like for example, did you get rid of the code that allows you to get dotted up and when you're about to die (last tick), zone, and a corpse will pop at your bind and the other side of the zone for duping?

I can name like 3 more methods that you probably have no idea about... add in the shit with MQ crashing zones, random bugs/exploits your coding probably put on the server, and its fucked.

What say you

Did you look at balance based off vz/tz ? Like... old world mages were pretty much ridiculous as fuck, their pets were better tanks then any level 50 warrior could be, and 4 of them quadded naggy in the first like 3 days or w/e just chain casting pet.

What type of LOS issues do you have with casting? as long as y ou start out with LOS, you will finish the cast if they stay within range? or is range reduced by 2/3s if they run behind a wall like on vztz?

I hope you based much of this off vztz, they were pretty successful from my 3 months there besides the MQ zone crashing bullshit/insta camping that finally broke the camels back
