| I'm going get a lot of shit for this probably but Evil Dead 2 was a fucking terrible movie. That is why it was so fucking brilliant. It was so bad it was good. Raimi has always had his head firmly planted in the "campy" category and I really don't think it was intentional at first. He just got smart and realized that was exactly why people loved his movies. |

| Yeah Spider Man 3 was a let down but it was still better than every video game movie ever made. And he bounced back with Drag me to hell. Him, Peter Jackson, Del Torro, or Snyder were the only people that would actually get me in the theatre. As long as they dont fuck it up with alot of lore (fuck wowlore nerds) then I think it should be alright. Orcs + fluids + catch phrases. Im down.

You can tell the difference between this and say...House of the Dead where shit is just poorly done and you find yourself cringing instead of laughing at the absurdity of it. Raimi knows when to not take things seriously and that's what made Evil Dead 2 so fucking good.

Why would they do a live action movie in the Warcraft universe? Their cut-scenes in all the games are so epically awesome, I'd say they have that part down. Hell, they could even partner up with a big animation studio and really rake in the bucks. All in all though, as much money as they might make with the movie, they will reap 10x with the main-stream exposure it will bring to WoW.

"SOMEONE'S IN MY FRUIT CELLAR!!!!!" ED2 is actually a pretty well put together film. There's some great camera work and editing. And it's funny as hell.

+6 Internets | Its really a big question why blizzard hasn't set up/expanded their cinematics department (the cg movie ones, not the ingame animated machinima one) to do full feature films like square did. I mean, thats a major cash cow right there. They don't even need to write new stories. People would pay to watch 2 hour CG version of Arthas going to icecrown to retrieve frostmourn to save lorderon for example.

| Nothing gives me rolleyes like watching some awsome CGI trailer for a game that has few if any in-game footage available, and reading all the comments, "OMG, this game is gonna rock!!" like a cgi trailer is any indication. Personally, I've had my fill of CGI wizards and warriors with glowing eyes and long, brooding stares before they, "raaaawr!!" and clash swords with some other cgi warrior/wizard. zzzzz |

| yeah, but Square screwed it making a (good for me)Sci-Fi movie with FF name attached to it. Not a FF movie. Who knows how it would have turned out if they had done something closer to Advent Children? |
